Lamborghini wanted to come to the 2010 Paris Auto show with the desire to “rock the stage”. Beyond the shadow of a doubt, they have succeeded leaving everybody mouth hanging open, at the sight of the new Lamborghini Gallardo, Murcielago and of course the new concept of Sesto Elemento. Let’s take a sneak peak inside the design and performance of these, truly incredible machines.

Let’s start things off with the 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder. The new Spyder brings a completely different driving experience, it actually feels like floating on clouds. This smoothness hides breathtaking performance and unmatched handling parameters. The president and CEO of the Automobili Lamborghini considers this car as the new dimension in the Gallardo series. It is a completely redesigned model that incorporates substantial design and technological factors belonging to the Gallardo LP-560-4. The new Gallardo Spyder makes the extreme motoring, even more extreme.

The engineers at Lamborghini Technical Department have upgraded just about anything. Traction systems including upgraded traction control, handling and stability improvements at high speed are only a few of the many upgrades the 2010 Spyder has received. The engine is a huge 5.2 liter monster that generates 560 hp at 8000 rpm offering improved output per litre. The acceleration will shove you in your seat as the car launches itself from 0-62 mph in under 3.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 201 mph. There is simply no stopping this one once it get’s going.

If you even dare look at the 2010 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept, you’d better check your mouth since it might be open. This machinery is the embodiment of Lamborghini state of the art technology. There is currently no other existent car or prototype that is built from a more advanced alloy of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). The truly unique body reflects the incredible lightweight car (only 999kg).

Packed with a 5.2 liter V10 engine and all time all wheel drive, the considerable decrease in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions take the Sesto Elemento to unparalleled heights. Another unique feat of this car is the perfect balance of power to weight ratio. 1.75kg/hp is something that no other car on the market has, which results in a blistering acceleration of 2.5 seconds on a 0-62 mph run. In its design the barely developed nano-technology allows the car to have a full body surface and glittering red crystals.

Using the Stealth Fighter principles of aerodynamics, the Sesto Elemento has undergone thousands of transformations to ensure the best possible aerodynamics, making the car cut air like a blade. 570 hp, superior grip and stability alongside with the permanent all wheel drive with the V10 power unit, these six elements put together ensure a radical driving experience.

And finally, the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce brings radical looks, unbelievable strength and sleek design to the table, living up to its defining line “Be assured, it’s a fighter”. The freshly developed Murcielago certainly possesses all the characteristics of an exotic supercar alongside with head turning design. It’s equipped with a “bull-like ” 6.5 liter V12 engine that puts the ground under it to the supreme test: not cracking. The horsepower exceeds 670 and, like it wasn’t enough, the power to weight ratio is 2.3kg/hp.  You won’t even know it’s gone until you realized that you’re driving with 62 mph after 3.2 seconds and better pay attention to the road cause the speed will keep increasing till it gets to 342 km/h. This truly is a car you do not want to “piss off”.
