2010 Opel Corsa receives upgraded engine lineup
Opel decided to to refresh its best selling Corsa model, which accounts for around 30% of its sales, and released the new 2010 model.
You won’t find any major visual enhancements, as the biggest changes included in this upgrade are found beneath the hood, with a wide array of upgraded engines, which produce more power with an improved fuel average and lowered emissions.
From the entry-level 1.0-liter gasoline to the top-of-the-range turbocharged 1.6-liter, all have received new management systems, as well as a host of other upgrades. The most frugal consumers will be happy to hear that with the EcoFlex 1.3-liter CDTI you can get just 3.7 liters/100 km (63.5 mpg) with 98 g/km of CO2 being emitted.
Enhancements were also made to the chassis, suspension and steering, all to provide a better ride quality for the standard trim lines, while the Sport edition has received a few key upgrades from Opel’s OPC performance edition.
