2012 ABT Sportsline Audi A6
The German aftermarket specialist ABT Sportsline has released details on its first tuning program for the 2012 Audi A6. It offers a series of power upgrade along with some mild aesthetic changes.
The 3.0-liter TDI engine has been tuned and it now produces 282 hp, 37 more in comparison to the standard version of the power plant. If you get the ABT Power S package, they’ll tune the engine up to 310 ponies by mounting an additional turbocharger. In this version, the engine’s torque can reach 450 lb.-ft (610 Nm), which is 74 lb.-ft (100 Nm) more than the standard specification.
For the V6 3.0-liter supercharged engine, the guys over at ABT will increase the output from the standard 300 hp to a whopping 410 hp.
They also offer a body kit for the A6 that brings subtle changes, like the revised front & rear bumpers, more discreet side skirts, a wraparound boot lid spoiler and a new set of rims. Also a part of the package are the four tailpipes integrated in the rear bumper, a trademark for ABT.
As far as the wheels are concerned, the Audi A6 can be fitted with rims that vary between 19- and 21-inches and have been especially designed for this model.
