2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe Spotted Without Camouflage

2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe

Spy photographers have just spotted the beautiful 6 Series Coupe from BMW, without any camouflage. The car will be officially launched this fall, after its convertible sibling will be available at dealerships.

The all-new 6 Series Coupe was teased last year at the 2010 Paris Motor Show when BMW presented the concept version of the model. Not a long time after that, the German automaker showcased the convertible version. This 6 Series (F12) implements BMW’s new design language which we first saw in the 5 Series and will certainly see it in upcoming models.

In comparison with the concept model, the standard production car is very similar; the only things that have changed are the mirrors and the wheels. The car features a strong and sculpted design with fluid lines. The front-end of the new 6 Series has been described by Adrian van Hooydonk, BMW’s Chief Designer, as “a shark-like nose” with a full-width air duct installed within the lower part of the bumper and a slightly forward-leaning kidney grille.

BMW will be introducing next year another two models from the 6 Series family, the powerful M6 and the all-new 4-door Gran Coupe. The price for the new 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe will start from approximately $90,000 for the base model.
