2012 BMW X6 Spied – New Angel Eyes, Still Ugly
As much as we like cars here on rpmGo, and we really do, we can’t seem to find anything desirable about the BMW X6. Not even this mild facelift doesn’t make us somewhat interested in the car.
Anyway, WCF’s spy photographers grabbed some photos with the 2012 BMW X6 and it seems that it will come with a new design of the company’s “angel eye” headlights which will have LED daytime running lights, just like the ones we’ve seen in the 2012 1-Series (yet another unattractive car) and will probably see them on the next-gen 3-Series which will be out soon.
The rear lights also appear to be slightly modified and probably we’ll see more changes until the car will be launched as this is only a prototype. The car will most likely get a new 3.0-liter tri-turbo diesel engine which will develop up to 395 hp (400 PS / 294 kW).
The 2012 BMW X6 will probably go on sale in the beginning of next year and we hope that somehow, someway, the production version will be heavily modified, but since we’re talking about only a facelift, updates will be limited. Maybe the next-generation model will make the car more appealing, hopefully.
