Design-wise, on the outside we notice that it has suffered some mild updates, like the implementation of a honeycomb style grille insert, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, along with new designs for the 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the upholstery options have been revised and so has been the leather steering wheel.

The Spanish automaker said that the Exeo’s engines have received some improvements and CO2 emissions have been reduced by approximately 7 g/km, for the 120 hp and 143 hp TDI sedans that have a manual gearbox and have emissions of less than 130 g/km. In addition, the fuel efficiency has gone up, with the sedan returning 48 mpg (57.6 mpg UK or 4.9 liters / 100 km) on the combined cycle.
