The facelift for the cute Toyota Aygo has brought a front fascia inspired by the one we’ve seen in the Yaris model, along with an updated front grille and LED daytime running lights (optional). In addition, the 2012 model year adopts restyled steel wheel caps and a new bonnet.

Inside the cabin, the Aygo comes with an updated dashboard, colored air vent trim and a new steering wheel. Some of the goodies include a brand new audio system that comes with Bluetooth/USB connectivity, along with more sound-deadening material to keep things nice and quiet while you are driving.

The 2012 Toyota Aygo is powered by a small 3-cylinder 1.0-liter gasoline engine that has been revised with a new combustion chamber and iridium-tipped spark plugs. The power unit is capable of developing 67 hp (68 PS / 50 kW) and a peak torque of 69 lb.-ft (93 Nm). The car has a fuel consumption of only 4.4 liters / 100 km and has CO2 emissions standing at 102 g/km.

Toyota will also offer a new ECO model that has a longer third gear ratio and runs on low-rolling resistance tires. This frugal version of the Aygo will drink only 4.3 liters / 100 km and have CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.
