888 HP Ferrari FF Maximus Announced By DMC
If you thought that the standard Ferrari FF was powerful, wait until DMC launches this Maximus tuning project, which raises the output of the V12 6.0-liter engine by an almost incredible 225 hp (222 PS / 160 kW) and 132 lb.-ft (179 Nm). Thanks to this significant upgrade, the FF will be able to reach 62 mph from start in only 3.2 seconds, while 0-200 km/h will be done in 9.1 seconds. Expect to see a top speed of more than 211 mph (340 km/h).
By using a 3D scanner, the guys over at DMC will come up with a new aerodynamic kit that will fit perfectly to the Ferrari FF. The tuning specialists said that there are going to be new side scoops, new bumpers, a trunk spoiler, a rear diffuser and a rear wing. In addition, the front nose of the supercar will be a little bit longer and sharper while the weight saving measures will shave off 154 lbs (70 kg) as they will replace some of the parts with lightweight carbon ones.
They will raise that output figure to 876 hp (888 PS / 653 kW) and 636 lb-ft (862 Nm) by installing a brand new intake manifold, a stainless steel sport exhaust system that has 90 mm tailpipes, bigger fuel injectors, a larger intercooler as well as high-flow air filters.
The Ferrari FF Maximus by DMC will roll on lightweight wheels, measuring 21 inches in the front and 22 inches out in the back, wrapped around Pirelli PZero rubber. Other goodies added to the FF will be the front-axle lift system and the lowering springs.
