Aston Martin DBS is now official

Everyone who saw James Bond Casino Royale, noticed Daniel Craig’s friend, the Aston Martin DBS. Well, now our dream has come true (at least for those who can afford it), because Aston Martin officially announced the DBS. And of course, as expected, this will be a true dream car. Powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine delivering 510 bhp and 570 Nm of torque the car goes from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in just 4.3 seconds and to a top speed of 191mph (302km/h). Other features include carbon-fiber body panels (a premiere for Aston Martin), adaptive damper controlled suspension, optimized air intake system with ‘by-pass’ port, bonded aluminum inner body structure, carbon ceramic brakes, advanced refinish process with epoxy and glass beads and a 700W stereo system to just name a few.

The car will be offficially presented in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with production expected to start early 2008. Pricing is unknown so far, but rumours say it will come at around £130,000 (EUR 192,000).

This is somehow unexpected, but the Aston Martin DBS is definitely a super car, and I can’t wait to see it on the street, because it sure is a dream car.

Incredible! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a totally different topic but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!
