Audi A8 to debut in Miami’s Design District on November 30th

Declining to go the old-fashioned route and presenting its new model at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, Audi has just announced that it will be revealing the next generation of its flagship model, the A8, at a temporary exhibit (pictured above) dedicated to the Ingolstadt manufacturer, in the famous Miami Design District.

Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi AG revealed that: “Our claim “Vorsprung durch Technik” [Progress through technology, trans.] also embraces design, which is one of the outstanding elements of the Audi signature. And as top design has now emerged as an acknowledged art form, we see the bridge between art and architecture as a logical step in advancing our brand.”

But what’s more interesting is that the debut will be made on November 30th, right on my name day. So if any Audi officials are reading this, I expect a brand new A8 at my doorstep on that day, contact me for any other details. All joking aside though, the new A8 promises to be a very interesting model, coming in various flavors of petrol and diesel engines, as well as a hybrid and, according to some rumors, a high performance model, to take on models like the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG.
