Chevrolet Offers
Chevrolet has been on a real roll the last few years, and for good reason. They seem to have gained the upper hand in cornering the perfect market niches and keep a strong hold on those that are already popular and filled with competition. There is no car market segment where Chevrolet doesn’t have at least 1 car model in a top 10 rating, starting from muscle cars where the Chevy Camaro is melting faces, switching to sports cars where the Corvette is considered the greatest American sports car, the truck section where the Chevrolet Silverado is holding (or it its case towing) his own and so on. Therefore if you decide to get a car, Chevrolet is the way to go. Here is a list of some of the best deals you can find from Chevrolet. The list has been based on 5 important factors: performance, exterior interior, safety and reliability. Let’s check it out.
On the affordable large cars segment, Chevrolet has a decent foothold with the new 2011 Chevy Impala. In terms of performance it wasn’t the best representative, since it used to be oriented more on SS trim levels with bigger, more powerful engines, but unfortunately the SS didn’t make it to the 2011 models. On the other hand, the V6 engines seem to balance power and fuel economy pretty well making it very useful on a long run. The exterior is rather bland compared to other cars that look more detailed and a bit more upscale. The interior is where the Impala failed. Filled with cheap plastic, it looks and feels unsatisfying. On the other hand, the safety ratings are excellent compared to cars from the same class, as for the reliability factor, Chevrolet offers a three-year or 36000 miles bumper to bumper warranty.

Holding strong in top 5 of the affordable midsize SUV segment we find the Chevrolet Traverse. In performance, it may be no cheetah but reviewers have been pleasantly surprised with the good handling this eight seater crossover has to offer. In spite of the few complains that target the transmission and the long distance it takes the Traverse to stop, most reviewers consider it a worry free car. If you plan on carpooling than, the cool and refined exterior will help a lot bringing to the table, sleek lines and a strong grille. The cool grille that comes from the Malibu gives the Traverse a more aggressive aspect. If the exterior looks good, than the interior is even better. Seven to eight people will fit comfortably in the flexible seating arrangement, making it perfect for a family car. Another aspect that will bring it loads of “family car points” is the fantastic safety ratings. It received full marks in all crash tests. As for reliability, it comes with the usual 36.000 mile or three years basic warranty.
And finally, the undisputed leader of the luxury sports car segment is the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette. If we were to heed the test drivers, than we’d hear that pricier exotic cars have trouble surpassing the smooth, sleek Corvette in performance and handling. It has enough force in those eight cylinders to satisfy even the biggest speed maniac, while keeping it glued to the track with its intelligent direction system. The exterior takes top marks for its composite materials and awesome looking lines. On the other hand, the interior still lacks that luxury that should be available in such a grand sports car. Since it’s been barely launched, there aren’t any crash tests to assist in a safety rating.
