Bentley Continental GT priced from 136,000 Euros in Europe
The British automaker Bentley has released a few days ago several official photos with the upcoming V8 Continental GT and GTC models that will soon be launched. We don’t have an official launch date but we know that in the United Kingdom the car will cost from 123,850 pounds while in the rest of Europe it will be available for at least 136,000 Euros. No word at the moment about the car’s official price in the United States but it will probably be of somewhere around $200,000.
These new entry-level Continentals will be motivated by a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine that is 40% more fuel efficient in comparison to the W12 6.0-liter engine. The V8-powered Continental will be able to travel for 500 miles (800 km) without having to visit the gas station. The power unit is rated at 500 hp (507 PS / 373 kW) and has a maximum torque of 487 lb.-ft (660 Nm), enough for a 0-62 mph sprint in 4.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 188 mph (303 km/h).
The V8-powered Bentley Continental looks a little bit different than the more powerful W12 model as it comes with a red enamel Bentley “B” badge, a glossy black grille with chrome center bar and frame, along with a three-segment front bumper fascia that has a black finish.
