BMW 335i Performance Edition Unleashed
Yet another version of the BMW 3-Series has been announced. This time around it’s the 335i Performance Edition which has been revealed during the BMWNA Sales Roundtable Broadcast. The next generation (F30) will hit the market this October and until then the German automaker is trying to keep the outgoing model alive by rolling out these special editions.
This one comes with a Stage 1 power kit, just like the one you’ll find in the 335is, which increases the output of the engine by 20 hp (20 PS / 15 kW) and 32 lb.-ft (43 Nm) for a grand total of 322 hp (326 PS / 240 kW) which is enough for a 0-62 mph sprint time in 5.3 seconds, 0.2 seconds quicker than the regular 335i. Aside from this extra oomph under the hood, the car features black kidney grilles and “Performance Edition” badging.
A great thing about this Performance Edition is that it can be retrofitted to any BMW 335i sedan. The only condition is that the car must feature the Sport / M-Sport package.
This mild update will set you back $550 and its availability includes August production BMW 335i sedans.
