The German automaker is trying to promote the upcoming M5 through any ways possible and their latest advertising scheme is this M5 Nurburgring taxi which they’ve unveiled last week at the M Festival in Germany. Aside from the special livery, the car is just about the same as the one we’ll be seeing on the streets in a couple of months.

As a reminder, the upcoming BMW M5 is powered by a V8 4.4-liter engine that churns out 552 hp (560 PS / 412 kW) and has a peak torque of 502 lb.-ft (680 Nm). This powerful engine is linked to a 7-speed, dual-clutch gearbox that allows the car to do the 0-62 mph sprint in only 4.4 seconds, 0-124 mph in 13 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h).
