BMW X3 xDrive35d tuned by Hartge

BMW X3 xDrive35d by Hartge

The most powerful version of the BMW X3 is the xDrive35 diesel which isn’t available in all of the markets where the German automaker sells the crossover. Under the hood of this model is a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter turbocharged engine that can output 309 hp (313 PS) @ 4,400 rpm and a peak torque of 465 lb.-ft (630 Nm) reached between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm, enough for a 0-62 mph sprint in only 5.8 seconds.

This is a great performance from a crossover, especially since this X3 is capable of returning 38.6 mpg (46.3 mpg UK or 6.1 liters / 100 km). If you are not satisfied with the output of the engine in its standard configuration, the German tuner Harge can increase the power to 357 hp (362 PS) at 4,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 538 lb.-ft (730 Nm) possible at 1,800 rpm.

Thanks to the power boost, the BMW X3 xDrive35d by Hartge can hit 180 km/h from 80 km/h in 14.22 seconds, while the 0 – 200 km/h sprint is done in 22.75 seconds, which is 4.03 and 6.15 seconds quicker than the standard model. In addition, the top speed that this tuned X3 is capable of reaching is 154 mph (248 km/h), also higher than the maximum speed of the standard X3 xDrive35d.
