Brabus 6.5 Mercedes-Benz W124 E500

One of the best mid-size models launched by Mercedes Benz in its history is without any doubt the W124. It was introduced back in 1985 while five years later the German automaker introduced the 500 E which they’ve made up until 1993 while from 1994 to 1995 they produced the E500 which was a vehicle developed together with Porsche. As a matter of fact, these cars were actually hand built by Porsche at the plant in Zuffenhausen, Germany.

The Mercedes-Benz E500 is motivated by a V8 5.0-liter that produces 322 hp (326 PS) @ 5,700 rpm and a peak torque of 354 lb.-ft (480 Nm) reached at 3,900 rpm. The car is capable of hitting a top speed of 162 mph (260 km/h) while the 0-62 mph sprint is done in only 5.5 seconds.

Some of the E500 units were tuned by Brabus. The aftermarket specialist named it the 6.5 due to the reason that they have increased the displacement of the V8 engine. One of these 6.5s was found by Brabus and it is available for sale. The odometer reads 157 miles (252 km), but we don’t have any other details about this beauty. Let’s hope that soon they’ll reveal the price tag for this rare car.
