Buenos Aires Motor Show – Chevrolet Colorado Rally Concept
Another concept revealed by Chevrolet at the Buenos Aires International Motor Show, aside from the Cobalt Sedan is this Colorado Rally Concept. This one is the continuation of the Colorado Show Truck that Chevy unveiled back in March at the Bangkok International Motor Show.
The new concept has been developed by General Motors South American design team and comes with a 4WD configuration, 18-inch aluminum alloys, 305/60R18 tires and a 2.8-liter turbodiesel power unit.
They’ve equipped the truck with 140 mm high performance shock absorbers along with a height-adjustable suspension. On both front & rear bumpers there is a 5.5 hp winch with a 23 meter long steel cable. All of the pickup’s exterior lights benefit from the LED technology and the concept has a traction capacity of up to 4 tones.
Speaking of the outside, the Colorado Rally Concept wears White Pearl paint with a contrasting interior cabin dashboard with ash-colored leather sport seats that have orange stitching. The model also sports a roll cage, along with a control for the stiffness of the dampers and a center console that has all the suitable dials for a rally racer. The air in the cabin can be quickly replaced thanks to the Air Boost system while the Hydration Pack is in charge with offering the necessary hydration of the driver and the co-pilot while racing.
