MR Car Design Ford Focus RS
There hasn’t been any news these days about tuning programs so it’s good that we have one to talk about. The engineers over at MR Car Design have decided to offer more muscle to the Ford Focus RS, turning it into a serious rival for the BMW 1-Series M and the Audi RS3.
By remapping the car’s ECU, installing a new in-house exhaust and downpipe, along with a K&N sport air filter and a 200-cell catalytic converter, they’ve managed to raise the power output to 355 hp (360 PS / 265 kW), up from the standard 301 hp (305 PS / 225 kW).
The car also went on a diet and thanks to these modifications; it can now sprint to 60 mph in only 5.9 seconds. In addition, they’ve also fitted the car with a Variant 1 KW coilover suspension.
