Cheaper diesel Audi Q7 introduced in UK
If you live in the UK and have been saving money to buy a brand new Audi Q7 you’ll be happy to hear that the German automaker has introduced a new entry-level version which comes with a V6 3.0-liter diesel engine that develops 201 hp (204 PS) and a peak torque of 450 Nm.
This version of the Q7 comes as standard with the company’s quattro AWD system and an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox. The large seven-seater sport utility vehicle hits 62 mph in 9.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 127 mph (204 km/h). It manages to return 39.2 mpg UK (32.6 mpg US or 7.2 liters / 100 km) and has CO2 emissions of 189 g/km.
Customers will be able to choose from one of the four trim levels available: Standard, SE, S line and the recently introduced S Line Plus. OTR prices start from 39,995 pounds for the Standard model, while the top-spec S Line Plus costs from 49,120 pounds.
The S Line Plus is 4,500 pounds more expensive than the S Line and it is offered with five of the six engines that can power the Q7. It brings huge 21-inch rims, standard metallic paint, running boards, special Verano leather upholstery, powered tailgate operation, HDD-based sat-nav system, Audi Parking System Advanced with reversing camera and Bluetooth phone preparation with Internet services.
