DMC Aventador LP900 Molto Veloce tuning kit priced at $165,000
So, you’ve had enough money to buy a brand new Lamborghini Aventado but you feel that it still misses something. For 125,000 Euro (about $165,000 or a new Porsche 911 Turbo) you could fit your supercar with the tuning kit developed by DMC. This tuning company from Germany has a soft spot for Italian supercars and their latest tuning program costs a small fortune.
They do sell separate kits which have a more affordable price tag. The cheapest one is the ADV1 wheel package which will set you back at least 7,800 Euro, while a new interior kit costs 17,700 Euro. If you want the body kit that you see in these photos, prepare to pay 19,500 Euro. It includes a lower lip spoiler, a front fascia, a front splitter, rear fascia with diffuser and a rear wing spoiler. All of the components that we have enumerated are made from carbon fiber.
The most expensive part of the DMC Aventador LP900 Molto Veloce tunig kit costs a whopping 80,000 Euro and gives the massive V12 6.5-liter of the Lamborghini Aventador a complete valvetrain rebuild with no less than a dozen unique single intake throttle plates, new fuel lines and pump, along with new injector nozzles and new pressure modulators. DMC also optimizes the electronics of the engine, installs a new wiring system and works on the electronic load pressure.
Why is the car called “LP900”? Because thanks to these modifications, the V12 engine is capable of producing 900 hp (662 kW) which is a lot more than the standard 690 hp (700 PS / 515 kW).
The tuner recommends potential clients to transport their Aventador to the company’s workshops in Switzerland or Germany in order to do the engine modifications, while the body components can be fitted at one of the tuner’s dealers. The German tuner has mentioned that all of the items are available on order.
