Future Lamborghini Models

Lamborghini has always impressed us with elegant, high speed and high quality designs. And the work of the Lamborghini team never stops. With every new car release they want to outdo themselves and they are really good at designing outstanding future Lamborghini models.

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

The Aventador LP700-4 was released by Lamborghini and impressed us because of its speed and incredible design, but the Lamborghini engineers are already thinking about new cars. Even if the release of the Aventador set new standards for high performance we all know that the Italian automaker can face the challenge of manufacturing even more impressive supercars.

2011 is the year when Lamborghini will release the long awaited Lamborghini Aventador LP550-2 Spyder that it will be displayed at the 2011 IAA.  In 2012, Lamborghini will release the Roadster version of the Aventador and the Sesto Elemento will be introduced in production. I think that we all just can’t wait to take a closer look at these incredible supercars and why not even take a ride in one.

Lamborghini Aventador LP550-2 Spyder

2013 is the Gallardo’s retirement year, because it will be replaced by the Cabrera equipped with a 570 hp V10 engine, followed by the replacement of the four doors sedan Estoque in 2014. The enthusiasts of the Aventador LP700-4 Super Veloce and those interested in the convertible Estoque will be happy to see them released in 2015. The good news doesn’t end here: 2016 will be the year of the Aventador LP700-4 coupe and roadster. Another redesign of the Gallardo will be released in 2018 while the new LP700 Jota will become available in 2019. The plans of Lamborghini extend until 2020 when the Estoque sedan and convertible will make their appearance on road followed by the Estoque coupe concept that will be ready in the same year. 2021 will mark the retirement of the LP700-4 and the Estoque coupe’s appearance on the market.

The Aventador roadster will have a carbon fiber body and some pieces that will hide the hard points on the chassis. The Aventador SV that will be released in 2015 will have a carbon interior and a carbon fiber wing, but only 350 cars will be available on the market. 2016 will be the year when the Aventador coupe and roadster will suffer some changes and the SV engine will be upgraded to the LP750-4 engine. And to end with the changes that will be suffered by these future Lamborghini models, in 2019 the LP850-4 Jota will be released and will use carbon-silicate materials for the gearbox. But, unfortunately only fifty cars will be manufactured.

The Gallardo’s replacement, the amazing Cabrera will be released in 2013, followed by the Cabrera Spyder in the next year. The Cabrera will be a little larger than its predecessor while the Spyder will use the configuration of the Gallardo 570 Superleggera. In 2017, Lamborghini will put on sale the Cabrera Superleggera that will be produced in only 250 units with an increased power of 595 horsepower.

The future Lamborghini models list continues with the first sedan four doors that will be released in 2014. The car’s name will be Estoque and it will be redesigned in 2015 as a two-door, four seats convertible. A new version of the Estoque will be designed in 2020 and a coupe version will be displayed in 2021 in showrooms as a fierce competitor of the luxurious sport coupes manufactured in England and Germany.

Along with all these future Lamborghini models I must mention the Hybrid, the Alternate fuel and Alternate Powerplant concept cars and Lamborghini’s intent to produce these cars in the future.
