Joss JP1, Headed To The Australian International Motor Show

JOSS Developments have announced that they will be bringing their Joss JP1 supercar in July at the Australian International Motor Show which will take place at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The two-seater sport coupe features a honeycomb sub-frame and a carbon fiber body and it is powered by a V8 mid-mounted aluminum engine that generates 500 hp (507 PS / 373 kW), mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

If Saleen and the McLaren F1 got together, the baby would look pretty much like the Joss JP1. With a curb weight of only 1,411 lb (940 kg), the Australian supercar will be able to do the 0-60 mph sprint in less than 3 seconds, on its way to an estimated top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h).

We don’t know when the car will be for sale, but we can tell you that it will cost approximately $455,875. During the show (July 1 – 10), the company will also exhibit a computer-generated image of the production version.
