The improvement of the aerodynamic components resulted in a car equipped with a racing motor. The list of improvements continues with the addition of the double-pipe stainless steel rear silencer, while the interior has an incredible carbon fiber look with the kits placed taking into account the customer’s preferences. 20-inch special wheels, part of the “Edition Race” were also used for the Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago.

This Lamborghini LP640 is equipped with a 6.5 liters V12 engine producing 640 horsepower at 8000 rpm. An important attention was given to making sure of the road contact because when you push a supercar to its limit you must have a good control over it. As a result, Hamann uses a front spoiler along with a rear wing to obtain a greater downforce on the front and the rear. The 2007 Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 suffered some changes on the aerodynamic components. Hamann added a two-part rear diffuser with additional air hoses which were especially designed for the extendable side air intakes. In addition, the aerodynamic was also improved by using side sills and a two-part front wing while the original side intakes have carbon-pendants in the sills, in front of the rear wheels. As an optional feature, the customer can extend the exhaust system by choosing the Hamann sport metallic catalytic converter. In the intent to personalize this Lamborghini LP640, the Hamann edition provides a new wheel design (the “Edition Race” design) that describes a forged light alloy metal wheel with a “Y” spoke design and high polished rims.

Inside the cockpit of the 2007 Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 the atmosphere is similar to that usually created inside sports racing cars. The look is obtained because of the tuners from Laupheim which provide an eight-part carbon look interior set. The design is completed by the instrument cockpit bordure, the gear shifting panel, the air bleed jet and the cigarette ashtray console.
