Lamborghini Model Car
In February 2011 the specialists from EDO Competition considered it was time to reveal the new Lamborghini Murcielago LP750. This incredible Lamborghini car model was the subject of some expensive technical improvements and as a result it offers now an incredible ride. In fact, this is the same company that transformed in 2010 the Murcielago LP640 in the powerful Murcielago LP710 which is able to produce 710 horsepower and achieve 352 km/h. But the team wasn’t out of ideas! In fact its members continued to upgrade Lamborghinis and managed to design another high performance supercar the 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago LP750.
The 2011 EDO Lamborghini Murcielago LP750 powertrain includes a lot of upgraded features including modified cylinder heads, a revised intake system, new air ducts and a performance flow airbox. This Lamborghini car model also features catalytic converters, aggressive camshafts, mufflers and high flow air filters. But the list of modifications made on this car model also includes new high performance exhaust headers and bucket tappets, along with a re-programmed ECU. The EDO Competition team didn’t forget about the aerodynamic package either. They improved it and obtained an optimized functionality.
The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago LP750 also displays several styling modifications which can be considered unnecessary, because when you drive at such a high speed no one will be able to see the difference. The exterior of this Lamborghini car model received an adjustable lip spoiler and a shaped rear wing which complete the aerodynamic package. I cannot forget about the ultra-lightweight allow wheels wrapped in special Michelin tires either.
Under the hood this incredible Lamborghini car model hosts a powerful 6.5 liters V12 engine able to produce around 750 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. As a result, the 2011 EDO Lamborghini Murcielago LP750 goes from zero to 100 km/h in only 3.1 seconds while the maximum speed achieved by this super car is around 365 km/h. In addition, the car reaches 300 km/h in only 24.5 seconds. To obtain such tremendous power, the cylinder heads were improved and a new high flow airbox was installed on this customized Lamborghini Murcielago. The car is also equipped with a seven-speed manual transmission.
The team upgraded the intake system which made possible the installation of a new hand-made intake manifold. The air ducts were also improved along with the performance exhaust headers, the bucket tappets, the flow air filters and many other features that were heavily upgraded and installed on the car. In addition, the Murcielago LP750 can be equipped with an all-wheel drive system that can be also converted to a rear-wheel drive that allows you to save around 40 kg. As a result, the car became more agile.
Because of the new intake system, the intake air mass is increased and at high speeds the velocity becomes pronounced. The engine modifications were followed by the improvements of the aerodynamic package which resulted in an improved high-speed stability and a more elegant and dynamic exterior design. The 2011 EDO Lamborghini Murcielago LP750 also features a high performance exhaust system manufactured from stainless steel using the plasma-coated process which is also used in the aerospace industry. To complete the improvement a revised exhaust tip was added. As optional features this Lamborghini car model offers a butterfly valve system and a remote control.
The 2011 EDO Lamborghini Murcielago LP750 is an incredibly fast supercar which can offer that amazing driving experience that those in love with speed and reliable cars at high speeds are looking for. Unfortunately, the budget is as unforgiving as always when it comes to these beautiful Lamborghini cars.
