Finally, after months of spy shots and teasers, we finally have the first official exterior photo of the all-new Mercedes-Benz B-Class, which will get its moment under the spotlight next month at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, before it will go on sale in the beginning of next year.

Known inside MB as the W246, the second generation of the B-Class is a little bit bigger than its rather weird-looking predecessor, measuring 4.359 mm long (which is 86 mm more), 1,786 mm wide (9mm more) and 1,557 mm tall (43mm less than the 1st gen model).

The back seat of the B-Class can be divided and folded 60:40 as standard. Clients will also be able to opt for the “EASY-VARIO-PLUS” system, which among other useful features; can allow you to position the rear seats differently along the longitudinal axis by up to 140 mm.

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class B180 model will be available with an all-new 1.6-liter engine that produces 122 hp and has a peak torque of 147.5 lb.-ft (200 Nm); while the B200 gets a 156 hp engine that has a peak torque of 184.4 lb.-ft (250 Nm). If you prefer diesels, the car will be available with a 1.8-liter turbocharged power unit that generates 109 hp and 184.4 lb.-ft (250 Nm) for the B180 CDi model and a more powerful 136 hp / 221.3 lb.-ft (300 Nm) engine for the B200 CDi model.

No word about the price tag but we’re certain that the German automaker will reveal it next month at Frankfurt.

    The new B-class will be seen by the public for the first time at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show next month. I have seen the interior of this car it looks 100 times better than old one looking foreword to its pricing.
