Opel/Vauxhall Insignia BiTurbo revealed

Opel Insignia BiTurbo

Opel/Vauxhall introduced this week the BiTurbo version of the Insignia which is powered by a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine that churns 192 hp (194 PS / 143 kW) and has a peak torque of 295 lb.-ft (400 Nm). With this power unit, the Insignia needs 8.7 seconds to do the 0-62 mph sprint, en route to a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).

Efficiency-wise, the car will be able to return 48 mpg (57.6 mpg UK or 4.9 liters / 100 km) and will have CO2 emissions of 129 g/km CO2.

The Opel/Vauxhall Insignia BiTurbo is going to be available in various body styles and prices start at 33,405 Euros (27,120 pounds).
