RS Tuning Squeezes 320 HP From The Megane RS 250

Renault Megane RS 250 by RS Tuning

This tuning company from Britain has developed a Stage 2 package for the hot Megane RS 250 from Renault which consists of a stainless steel sport exhaust borrowed from Milltek, a high-flow intercooler courtesy of Forge Motorsport, an ECU remap, along with a choice of a sport catalyst or a cat bypass pipe.

Thanks to these modifications, the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine under the hood of the Megane RenaultSport 250 now produces 316 hp (320 PS / 235 kW) and a peak torque of 360 lb.-ft (488 Nm), in comparison to the standard version that offers 247 hp (250 PS / 184 kW) and 248 lb.-ft (340 Nm) of torque.

This tuning program costs 2,199 pounds (including VAT) for the cat bypass pipe that can be used only on circuits. For 300 pounds more, you can get the street-legal sports catalyst.
