Spy Shots: 2012 Mini Coupe & Mini JCW Coupe

WCF’s photographers have taken a few spy shots with the 2012 Mini Coupe and the Mini John Cooper Works (JCW) Coupe undergoing some tests on the streets of Munich, Germany. First introduced back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show as the Mini Coupe Concept and the Mini Roadster Concept, these photos give us a clue about how will the final products of these two cars will look like.

Taking into consideration that they’ve camouflaged the rear upper body, the automaker is trying to hide the taller dimensions of the greenhouse and the steeper windshield, in comparison to the aforementioned concept. As far as the JCW version, it looks just about the same as the one we saw in 2009, including here the body kit, reverse baseball cap roof and the rims.

Pervious rumors said that the cars will be introduced this month at the 81st edition of the Geneva Motor Show, but it seems that Mini wasn’t ready yet. Most likely, the cars will be unveiled later on this year.
