Uncovered Cadillac CTS Coupe spy shots

The Cadillac CTS Coupe is one really beautiful car, the styling line impressed us even from the premiere at the Detroit Motor Show and those really nice shapes has made it a prime target for spy photographers, one of them even filming a short video of the car, but unfortunately the camouflage was heavy and we didn’t get to see a whole lot of the actual production version’s curves and styling aspects. But now, things have changed, as these new spy shots came in from our friends over at WorldCarFans, which show an almost uncamouflaged car.

The influences of the CTS Coupe concept really come to life with this pre-production version, with a lot of features finding real life interpretations, like the dual exhaust system or the touchpad system that replaces the traditional door handles. Other intersting tidbits are the presence of a camera on the rear of the car, under the chrome strip, on which the Cadillac engraving brings a touch of class, features which make the CTS Coupe a bit more special than other cars. Production of the car is set to start in May 2009 with the official debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November.

Video: Cadillac CTS Coupe spied

The Cadillac CTS Coupe debuted at Detroit, we saw it live at Geneva and we were really impressed with it. So here is a spy video by Inside Line, which shows the car being tested at GM’s Milford Proving Grounds. Though the CTS Coupe is pretty well camouflaged, we can see that the production version will hold many of the Concept’s characteristics.
