We won’t be surprised if we’ll find you that this guy has a job in publicity. If he doesn’t, he should. He is trying to sell his Porsche 911 Supersport through an amateur car ad which lookes better than a proffesional one.
Easy to follow plot, great editing, inspired frames and most of all a beatiful girl. You can’t have a proper car commercial without a beautiful girl, right?
Take a look at the video, you might consider buying the Porsche 911 Targa Supersport if the price won’t go through the roof after this stunt.
The BMW X5 is definitely a pretty capable SUV, as highlighted when it mounted several cars while being driven by a woman from Canada.
Now, the X5 is put through its paces as a make-shift stunt car, with an owner trying to jump and/or flip it in mid-air. For our amusement, he decided to film the whole attempt, which, as you can imagine, didn’t exactly go so well.
Check out the failed stunt attempt in a video after the jump. (more…)
We’ve seen some pretty interesting ads lately, culminating with the ones for the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, which put real people in the passenger seat of the performance model being thrown around by rally driver Dave Mirra.
Now, Honda Australia has revealed a brand new batch of commercials, under the slogan ‘How much _____ can you pack into a Jazz?’.
As you know, Jazz is the name of the Honda Fit outside the USA. The compact hatchback is now showcasing its spacious interior by trying to fit in as many unusual things as possible. The commercials attempt, in a ‘scientific’ way, to see how many hipsters, ninjas, rappers or even professional body builders can be squeezed into the Jazz/Fit.
Needless to say, all of the videos are hilarious, so hit the jump and check them out. (more…)
Finding a parking spot can easily be one of the most frustrating things about owning a car, as you can never seem to find one, especially in crowded cities.
Lukicly, this Asian female driver has come up with a great solution.
Wherever she parks, she just rolls down plastic sheets with the appropriate markings, and also hangs a ‘Parking’ sign near a light post. As such, it looks like she is parked in a legal spot, even though she is actually in a zone without any free spots.
As much as female drivers are blamed for many things, this time we think we can all learn something from this woman.
Hit the jump to see her parking spot strategy in action. (more…)
As we’re sure most of you have gotten sick from all the media buzz concerning the eruption of Iceland’s Eyjafallajökull volcano, the lads at Top Gear decided to shed some light on the subject, admitting that they actually caused the eruption when filming on location a few weeks ago.
Now before you take this thing seriously, it’s just a joke, so don’t go reporting it to the Daily Mirror or something. James May did film on location in Iceland, using once again the rugged Toyota Hilux models from Arctic Trucks, but didn’t actually plant any C4 to cause the volcano’s eruption.
Still, the Top Gear website did come up with a “scientific” explanation for all of this, coming from “reputed” media commentator Annalisa Kneejerk:
“It has been scientifically proven that Top Gear is responsible for almost every evil in the modern world, so the eruption of a furious tectonic force barely a week after Richard Clarkson’s ‘visit’ can hardly be viewed as mere coincidence. We have it on good authority that Jeremy Hammond drove one of his favorite Ferrari gas-guzzlers at 100mph, straight into the main magma chamber, which could quite easily have caused this geological catastrophe. Thankfully I’ve never watched the show.”
So there you have it. Want someone to blame for a huge ash cloud or airport delays? Top Gear is the perfect sacrificial lamb.
The dreaded unintended acceleration problem has been plaguing the media in the last few months, largely because of Toyota’s major recalls due to various parts failing and resulting in out of control vehicles.
But this new video shows Japanese models aren’t the only ones suffering from such problems. In it, a last generation Renault Laguna is going through a series of “unintended acceleration” incidents.
From the erratic behavior though, we can clearly figure out that no floor mat or sticky pedal is to blame. Also, we have to feel bad for the guy on that mobile stair, he totally didn’t deserve it. Don’t forget to watch it until the end, as the wiper is the real cherry on top.

For those who really love Lamborghini, this story won’t go down very well. It seems that a property tycoon from the UK, Glenn Knowles, went on a night of binge drinking with a Lamborghini he co-owned with a friend of his.
After his bar hopping experience, he revealed to the police that he actually lost his Lamborghini model, and couldn’t remember where he parked it. The police attempted to search for it, and even employed the tracking system the luxury sportscar was equipped with, but couldn’t find it.
Smelling something fishy, insurance investigators charged the two owners with attempting to commit fraud, but a jury found them innocent during the trial. It seems that because the guys were able to make monthly £500 payments for the vehicle, and because this wasn’t the first time Knowles forgot about a car, they were found not guilty. Before a similar night of drinking, Knowles parked a Mercedes-Benz so well, he needed to search for it for quite some time before it was found.
Frankly, we’re without words. We should definitely hope that Mr. Knowles will be kept away from any other supercars for quite some time, or at least employ a driver during his drinking escapades. So, as a quick reminder, if you’re going to be drinking a lot, best leave the Lambo in the garage, OK?
In case you didn’t notice, we love cars around here, and if you’re reading this, chances are you’re pretty fond of them too.
But during our searches on the Internet, we found a lot of people who took their love for cars and/or specific brands further, and got tattoos of them on their bodies. Some of them were extremely impressive, resulting in true works of art, but others weren’t all that fortunate, ending up with some pretty hilarious results.
We decided to compile a photo gallery of some of the most unfortunate ones we found on the web. From funny, to weird, to frightening and even bizarre, you’ll find them all right after the jump. (more…)
Give anyone a rear-wheel drive car, and sooner or later you will see them attempt a burnout, a donut or anything in between. Depending on their skills, some might achieve, while others will fail.
Guess in which category this BMW 3 Series owner goes into? A reminder for anyone attempting such things: keep the doors locked, keep your extremities inside the car at all times, and if you really, really want to get out and show off during a donut/burnout, make sure the car is remotely stationary.
You can find this guy’s near-death experience while doing a burnout after the jump. (more…)
Every day we should be grateful for the Internet and YouTube, as valuable life lessons can be learned from seeing others attempt various things.
The most recent one is the adventure of some guy trying to get his Chevrolet Corvette C4 from this barn, and through a moderately deep trench, flooded with water. He could have waited, or gotten a tractor to pull the sportscar out, but he just went all “Dukes of Hazzard” on the situation, and decided to floor the acceleration and “fly” over the water.
Sadly, at least for the car, he probably forgot that Corvettes don’t have wings and aren’t amphibious. Hit the jump to see the result of his clever reasoning. (more…)
The people living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, aren’t going through the best of times, as floods are rampaging through the capital city. But at least there’s one big upside for both pedestrians and car owners.
What’s that you ask? How about a free and fast shower or car wash, respectively, every time a train passes through the flooded streets.
The guys waiting on the overpass are definitely thankful for not opting for a convertible, while the people on the street probably wish they’d have taken their umbrellas that day.
Hit the jump to see the world’s fastest car wash/shower. (more…)
To be honest, I never thought of that before. What do you do when you’re going round and round looking for a parking space and in the only avaliable ones you couldn’t get your car not even if it was a Smart. It’s easy, you install a fifth wheel between the rear wheels and tadaaa! At least that’s what this guy did and it looks like it’s working pretty good for him.
So, you buy yourself a classic Lamborghini and you drive it to meet your friends and show them what a cool car you have, or, worse, you go pick up a beautiful girl. And when you get there, you wanna get out of the car, however, things aren’t always that easy:
Conclusion? Wanna buy a Lamborghini, or at least drive one? Lose some weight, for Christ’s sake!
Funny Video: Drunk dude has sex with a Toyota and gets arrested
Not sure whether that’s a Toyota or a Chevy, but this definitely has to be one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. This guy is so drunk he can’t even walk straight and he decides to bang an innocent SUV. Love the soundtrack too. Unfortunately, all he got from this crazy sex scene was a meeting with a police officer and probably some time in prison.
