Today at the 2011 NY Auto Show, Jeep unveiled the SRT8 version of its Grand Cherokee model. It features a very aggressive look, with a new front fascia, a ventilated bonnet and a body-color grille. Other additions include a dual exhaust system, LED daytime running lights, and sits on 20-inch forged aluminum rims, wrapped around in Pirelli PZero run-flat tires. Inside the cabin, we find Nappa leather/suede sport seats, faux carbon fiber trim and a flat-bottom steering wheel.

Under that new hood there is a V8 6.4-liter HEMI that churns out about 465 hp (471 PS / 347 kW) and 465 lb.-ft (630 Nm) of torque. With this power unit, the Grand Cherokee SRT8 does the 0-60 mph sprint in 4.8 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
