Another supercar loves Christmas lights

It was only on Monday when we showed you a Ferrari 360 Spider armed with a lot of LED lights. Without further introductions, we have another one for you, a Lamborghini Murcielago whose owner probably is a Tron enthusiast. As you will see, it has LEDs just about anywhere, starting with the doors, windshield surround, engine vents, rear diffuser, etc. See for yourselves:

Black Lamborghini Murcielago

The first SuperVeloce version of a Lamborghini was embodied by the Diablo SV model which was highly tuned by the Italian automaker being a supercar of the ‘90s. The Lamborghini Miura SV also benefited from a SuperVeloce version that was the last version of this legendary supercar manufactured back in the ‘60s and the ‘70s.  Next is the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce that’s a model which offers amazing features for customers. This 2010 Murcielago is manufactured focusing on weight reduction because this SuperVeloce model weighs only 1565kg.

The 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce comes with a unique design and a powerful engine. It’s the best combination between high performance and luxury offering incredible top speeds and a comfortable interior. This Murcielago looks incredible because of its redesigned front end which was pulled way forward and painted in an outstanding matt black paint while the carbon fiber front spoiler is bounded to the front end with the help of two vertical elements. This incredible black Lamborghini Murcielago also has large air intakes for the front brakes while the new front fenders have additional air intakes used by the brake ventilation system.

2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce

The rear of the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV is dominated by a flat, noble and an incredible wide exhaust tailpipe and by a two-level diffuser system made of carbon fiber. In addition, the rear light clusters display the light in that Y-shape used on every Lamborghini supercar since the Murcielago LP640, Gallardo LP560-4 and the Reventon. The engineers also redeveloped the aerodynamic components of this black Lamborghini Murcielago. As a result, the new fixed rear spoiler, the enlarged front spoiler and the twin rear diffuser have an important role in ensuring the perfect aerodynamic. Because of the new aerodynamic set-up, the supercar has a significant boost providing stability even at the highest speeds.

Inside of this black Lamborghini Murcielago, the luxury and the high performance components are well integrated. The interior is covered in Alcantara with some touches of carbon fiber giving the ambience a high-quality and sporty aspect. The seats are made of carbon fiber and offer the perfect support for the driver in all the driving situations. The weight reduction system was also used on the interior using carbon fiber as main material for the door panels and the center tunnel.

Under the hood, the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV hosts a 6.5 liters V12 engine mounted longitudinally. As a result, this engine is able to produce 670 horsepower and 8,000 rpm being with 30 horsepower more powerful than the Murcielago LP640. This incredible black Lamborghini Murcielago is able to reach 100 km/h in only 3.2 seconds while the top speed achieved by this supercar is of 337 km/h if the customer chooses the large “Aeropack Wing” which includes a large, fixed carbon fiber wing placed on two brackets made of carbon fiber.

The 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV is available equipped with an automated manual transmission e-gear. This transmission uses electro-hydraulics when the driver shifts gears quickly and smoothly. The all-wheel drive system is also part of the engineering components, as well as the four brakes controlled by ABS system, the double wishbone suspension and the traction that offer stability to the car even at maximum speed.

This black Lamborghini will be manufactured in a limited edition of only 350 cars and I must say that this matte black model will be even harder to purchase. If you already decided to purchase one you must know that the price can reach $450,000. But we all know that a Lamborghini is worth every penny.

Lamborghini Murcielago 2011

The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 comes with important innovations which involve the body design and the mechanical components, including the braking system, the electronic components and the suspension. As its name reveals, the Murcielago LP640 is equipped with a new engine placed in the “longitudinale posteriore” area, able to produce 640 horsepower.

The exterior design of this 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago follows the traditional principles of the Italian automaker, including purism, sport and functionality. As a result, the Murcielago LP640 looks more aggressive with its new front and rear bumpers along with the exhaust system terminal which is incorporated into the diffuser. The list of innovations made by the engineers on the 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 includes also the rear lights making it even easier to distinguish the car at night.

Lamborghini Murcielago 2011

The design of the sides, especially on the left side is incredible. The left side features a vast aperture to cool the oil radiator while the area behind the air intakes on the right side seems to be closed. The entire exterior design with its aerodynamic components well accentuated, maintains the opinion that the shape of a Lamborghini is always given by functionality. The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago benefits also from new rear view mirrors and new windscreen wipers to improve the aerodynamics while the Hermera wheel rims are made of light metal being equipped with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. But the well known scissor doors are still in place, made of sheet steel and honeycombed carbon fiber.

The interior of the 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 was upgraded as well. It’s more spacious and features redesigned head restraints, new comfortable seats and a new instrument panel with lights. The leather upholstery is the key word featuring lozenge-shaped stitching (known as Q-citura). Modern gadgets are also part of the design including a new Kenwood radio with a 6.5’ widescreen monitor, DVD, WMA and MP3 player.

The “magic” continues under the hood, where the new engine was radically modified. This 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago is equipped with a 6.5 liters V12 engine able to produce 640 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. This new engine can reach a maximum torque of 660 Nm. As a result, the Murcielago LP640 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.4 seconds while the maximum speed achieved by this sports car is of 211mph.

The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago meets all the European and North American law requirements when it comes to exhaust fumes. And to do that, the engineers have created a larger oil radiator while the air intakes on the left side were enlarged. In addition, because of the higher torque and power, the new Murcielago LP640 is equipped with a modified six-ratio gearbox and even an automatic e-gear is available, on request, for the buyer. The 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 also features a four-wheel drive system and the well known Viscous Traction system. The car is also equipped with self-ventilating front and rear brakes, the anti-blocking system with electronic brake control and four speed sensors and an electro-hydraulic control unit. This 2011 Murcielago LP640 is perfectly equipped to confront all the obstacles and the road conditions without putting the driver and the passenger in danger. When it comes to safety measures, this 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago meets all the requirements being equipped with two front airbags and all the braking system components needed for special road conditions.

If you are interested in buying a 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 you should know that that the starting price is around $350,000 and can be higher depending on your demands regarding the interior gadgets or the engineering components.

Lamborghini Lp640

The Lamborghini LP640 is an amazing and fast supercar, but the Hamann’s version of the Murcielago LP640 is even more incredible and unbelievable. This special edition had its premiere at the 2007 Tunning World Bodensee, held in Germany and it was very appreciated by the viewers.  When you see the 2007 Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 you actually have the feeling it is a Stealth-Bomber running on four wheels. This Lamborghini LP640 is one of the most masculine looking sports cars manufactured in the world and, of course, it’s incredibly fast as well. We all know that the Lamborghini LP640 represents more than just a show car. That’s the message Hamann tried to send his viewers and he succeeded to achieve his goal.

The alterations made by Hamann on the Lamborghini LP640 included the exterior design, the driving dynamics and the sound system. All these improvements created an incredible Lamborghini that is different from all the Lamborghini cars ever manufactured. The improvement of the aerodynamic components resulted in a car equipped with a racing motor. The list of improvements continues with the addition of the double-pipe stainless steel rear silencer, while the interior has an incredible carbon fiber look with the kits placed taking into account the customer’s preferences. 20-inch special wheels, part of the “Edition Race” were also used for the Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago.

This Lamborghini LP640 is equipped with a 6.5 liters V12 engine producing 640 horsepower at 8000 rpm. An important attention was given to making sure of the road contact because when you push a supercar to its limit you must have a good control over it. As a result, Hamann uses a front spoiler along with a rear wing to obtain a greater downforce on the front and the rear. You have the opportunity to choose the main material used for the parts of this Lamborghini LP640. You just need to order the parts made of carbon-Kevlar or their fiberglass version.

Lamborghini Lp640

The 2007 Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 suffered some changes on the aerodynamic components. Hamann added a two-part rear diffuser with additional air hoses which were especially designed for the extendable side air intakes. In addition, the aerodynamic was also improved by using side sills and a two-part front wing while the original side intakes have carbon-pendants in the sills, in front of the rear wheels. Moreover, this Lamborghini LP640 is equipped with a central running air box on the roof designed to improve the aerodynamics and remind us about the old Lamborghini Diablo GT-R.

The double pipe stainless sports rear silencer used on the 2007 Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 makes a noise similar to that generated on race tracks. As an optional feature, the customer can extend the exhaust system by choosing the Hamann sport metallic catalytic converter. In the intent to personalize this Lamborghini LP640, the Hamann edition provides a new wheel design (the “Edition Race” design) that describes a forged light alloy metal wheel with a “Y” spoke design and high polished rims.

Inside the cockpit of the 2007 Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 the atmosphere is similar to that usually created inside sports racing cars. The look is obtained because of the tuners from Laupheim which provide an eight-part carbon look interior set. The design is completed by the instrument cockpit bordure, the gear shifting panel, the air bleed jet and the cigarette ashtray console. But all the interior features are established depending on the customer’s desires. Extravagant leather or other multi-media components can be chose.

The 2007 Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is the perfect car for a true sports car lover.

How can you not fall in love with a car that was redesigned and brought closer to perfection by the most talented teams belonging to not one, but two exclusive companies.

History Of Lamborghini

Lamborghini was founded in 1963 by Ferrucio Lamborghini, a former army member who established his own company specialized in building tractors. The tractor business developed as years passed and in 1970 a second factory was founded to produce air conditioners and heaters for buildings. The incredible success was celebrated in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy where the company established its headquarters.

But everything changed when he met Enzo Ferrari. This was the moment when his desire to build high-speed supercars with luxurious interiors revealed itself. Ferrucio complained to Enzo about a clutch problem that the Ferrari he owned had. Enzo told him that “the problem is not with the car but with the driver…” and he was asked to take care of his tractors and leave the problem for those who know what to do.

Disappointed by the answer received, Ferrucio dismounted the transmission of his car and found out that his car used the same transmission as his tractors. Because of this discovery, he asked some talented men who worked for Enzo Ferrari including Franco Scaglione, Giotto Bizzarini and Gian Paolo Dallara to give him a hand. As a result, the team created the perfect competitor for the Ferrari cars, the Automobili Lamborghini.

Ferrucio was inspired by its birth sign, Taurus, and started using it as an emblem for his cars. In fact, even nowadays the Lamborghini cars are named after bulls. The Italian company also recruited Giotto Bizzarrini, an employee who used to work for Ferrari and asked him to design and manufacture a V12 engine for Lamborghini. This engine was soon built and was able to produce 400 horsepower. But because Ferrucio wanted a GT car and not a racing car, the power was reduced to 280 horsepower.

The first car manufactured by Lamborghini was the GTV prototype while the first production car was the Lamborghini 350GT manufactured in 1964. After the Lamborghini 350GT, the history of Lamborghini continued with the manufacture and release of the Miura, a real supercar named after a well known bull race. But the success didn’t stop here. In 1968 Lamborghini manufactured the Lamborghini Espada 400GT which was a big hit, more than 1,200 cars being built at Sant’Agata.

1985 Lamborghini Coutach

In 1970, the race driver Bob Wallace worked to transform his Miura S into a race car. He redesigned the suspension, reduced the weight and placed new spoilers obtaining a fast race car which could go from zero to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds. But Ferrucio wasn’t interested in the race proposal of Wallace and decided to sell the prototype of the Lamborghini Miura Jota to an Italian enthusiast. In the 1970s, the Italian company suffered because of the economic crunch and Ferrucio sold his shares to a Swiss car lover, George-Henri Rosseti. But the company went on without its founder. After some dark days and only one car produced (the Coutach 400S in 1980), Lamborghini was sold to the French brothers Patrick and Jean-Claude Mimran who produced the off-road LMA series and the Coutach Quattrovalvole. In 1987, another page of the Lamborghini history was written when Lee Iaccoca bought the company for $33 millions.

2010 Lamborghini Gallardo

During the Iaccoca era, in 1990 the Lamborghini Diablo was released. But in 1998 Audi bought Lamborghini and things started to change for the better. Because of a large infusion of cash and technological innovations, the company built the Murcielago in 2001. Its success was followed by the 2003 Gallardo, which proved this was a company focused on fast, luxurious supercars designed for modern drivers. In 2010, the Gallardo was considered the most successful car with 10,000 units produced.

By using this program, you can customize the interior and the exterior of the car by choosing one of the many different colors and materials available.

But the true miracle is hidden under the hood, where a fierce 6.5 liters V12 engine is hosted, being able to produce 632 horsepower and 660 pound of torque. The all wheel drive system is part of the standard package for the 2009 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. The car is equipped with a six speed manual transmission that uses a gated metal shifter. The 2009 Lamborghini Murcielago can be yours for a base price of $350,000, but if you want a Murcielago equipped with all the options available the price goes up to more than $380,000.

2008 Lamborghini Murcielago

The “raging bull”, that’s what they call the 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Roadster. It may benefit from the powerful upgrades, as the Lamborghini LP 640 Coupe, but it comes with its own personality and distinct characteristics.

The first thing that comes to mind when you look at the 2008 Murcielago is that it looks a lot more aggressive than the last one. In its redesign, the engineers from Lamborghini Centro Stile stuck to the original representation of purity, sporty looks and extreme functionality. The same as the Coupe, it looks more aggressive due to the modified front and rear bumpers. There you can find a new read diffuser so the exhaust system is now constructed within a tailpipe.

2008 Lamborghini Murcielago

Looking at the lights you see that they are different as well. Completely redesigned, they ensure that no one will mistake the Lamborghini Murcielago with just another car, since in daylight that’s impossible. Another interesting feature is the asymmetry of the sides. If you look to the right just behind the air inlet, you will see that there is no orifice, it is completely closed. On the other hand, on the left there is a big opening used for the ventilation of the oil cooler. This, alongside with the incredible aerodynamics of the car, is illustrating the importance of functionality in the design of the Lamborghini.

Even the mirrors have been redesigned to make the Murcielago Roadster even more aerodynamic, with new upgrades added like windscreen wipers and the option for integrating Hermera wheels.

The interior arrangement, just the same as its predecessor, is asymmetrical making the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster look like a formula 1 car on the inside. The entire interior is tailored by hand all the way to the driver. It’s been designed in such a way that makes the driver more focused than ever. It gives the impression that the car is challenging the driver yet in the same time, it’s equipped with everything the driver would possibly want, geared to the teeth. You just take a look at the dashboard tunnel console and you’ll feel like you are about to start up a spaceship.

The instrumentation panel has been remodeled completely, offering new graphic displays. A new Kenwood audio system equipped with a 6.5 inch monitor that can read DVDs, mp3 or wma disks. The navigator system is placed as an option.

Like its predecessor the LP640 Roadster can be personalized with the special designs and equipment packages, allowing you to create your dream personalized car.

The Murcielago Roadster is equipped with a huge 6.5 liter, 12 cylinder engine that develops nothing less that a road blazing 330 km/h. The 640 hp developed by this massive engine will catapult you forward reaching 100 km/h from standing start in less than 3.4 seconds, making it 0.5 seconds faster than the predecessor.

The engineers shifted the attention more to the torque band optimizing it. Now the engine benefits from a system that uses variable timing, and it would by managed by the Wire-Drive-System, making it a lot more responsive to each command.

With the rising performance comes a considerable rise in demand on the drive parts. So the transmission received an upgraded 6 gear gearbox alongside with more powerful rear differential and redesigned half-axles. The all wheel drive transmission is self regulated not needing intervention from any on board electronics.

2010 Lamborghini Murcielago

The 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago is the flagship of a car manufacturer that built extreme and exotic sports cars defying the engineering and aerodynamic laws. As a result, car enthusiasts from all around the world are able to enjoy driving incredible cars at incredible top speeds.

The Murcielago impresses by keeping the same inspirational aura of freshness with each improved model that appears on the market. The 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago features useful and handy improvements that maintain the same Italian charm and the same high quality that convinces buyers to invest in these luxurious cars.

This supercar is available in two body styles that have the same youthful vigor: the two-seat coupe and the convertible roadster. The 2010 Murcielago LP640 is the standard model while the LP650-4 Roadster and the LP670-4 SuperVeloce are the new two limited edition models.

2010 Lamborghini Murcielago

The standard 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is equipped with 18 inch wheels with a 245/35ZR18 performance on the front tires and a 335/30ZR18 performance on the rear ones. The Murcielago LP640 has an adjustable suspension that can raise the front of the car preventing the curb and the parking-clock scarping. Other important features that make this car amazing include the xenon headlights, the power-folding external mirrors, the air intakes and the side rear spoiler which is activated automatically. When it comes to the interior for the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 leather is the key word. You can admire it as trim and upholstery. The interior is completed by the handy dashboard, the automatic climate control, the tilt-and-telescoping steering column, the CD/DVD/MP3 stereo system and the auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce impresses because of its brawny engine along with the black paint accents. In addition, the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce has a see-through engine cover that allows you to see the powerful engine hosted under the hood. As an optional package you can choose a bigger rear wing, Alcatara interior trim and carbon fiber as the main material used. The standard supercar is not equipped with a stereo system, but you can get it by choosing the optional package.

The LP650-4 Roadster is available in one of the two colors: orange or gray and is equipped with brake calipers painted orange and a see-through engine cover.

The 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago is a powerful sports car and that is because of the 6.5 liters V12 engine which produces a maximum power of 631 horsepower and 487 pound-feet of torque. In the case of the LP650-4 Roadster, the same engine as the one used for the standard Murcielago, produces a top power of 640 horsepower while the LP670-4 SuperVeloce’s engine reaches 661 horsepower. The 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago is also equipped with an all-drive system and the engine comes with a six speeds manual transmission.

The powerful 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago incorporates all the safety measures you might think necessary. The car is equipped with traction control and antilock brakes with six pistons brake calipers. The Murcielago Roadster comes with rollover bars that deploy automatically while the carbon ceramic brakes are optional for the Roadster and for the standard Murcielago. The SuperVeloce is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes as part of standard package, but you don’t have included the stability control system or the side airbags.

In conclusion, the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago even if it is quite expensive is definitely irresistible. So, if you are a big fan of sports cars and you are willing to spend around $400,000 to fulfill your dream then the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago (any model) is the prefect choice worth every penny. You should not hesitate!

2005 Lamborghini Murcielago

Lamborghini is known all around the world for its amazing sports cars. The Lamborghini Murcielago is one of these cars that reflect very well the principles of the Lamborghini designs. This Lamborghini is a two seats two doors sports car manufactured by the Italian automaker for many years now.

The 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster was revealed in 2004 as a 2005 model and it is a geometric work of art with straight lines that combines the Italian flair with the German simplicity.  The Roadster has the same angular wedge as the other Lamborghini cars, but completed by the incredible scissor doors. The design of this amazing car includes a pronounced spiral inside, some exhaust pipes placed centrally and air scoops that have the role of going up at low speeds to cool down the overheating V12 engine.

2005 Lamborghini Murcielago

To impress more the audience, the designer of the 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster placed a rear wing that pops out of the car’s body at 80 mph having the role to stick the rear end to the floor. When it comes to the materials used to manufacture this incredible fast car, the key words are carbon fiber, except for the doors which are made of steel. By using carbon fiber, Lamborghini succeeded to maintain the weight of this Roadster at 3,659 pounds.

The interior of the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster is covered in black leather giving a strong personality to this fierce “bull”. The Roadster incorporates black side sills behind the door windows, streamlined headrests and a lowered windshield. Other impressive interior features include the huge six speed metal shift gate and the vents placed on display. These features reflect very well the Italian-German mixture.

Under the surface, the 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster “rests” on a tubular steel chassis with some reinforcements made of carbon fiber that include even the cage which hosts the engine. That shows how evolved the engineering department of Lamborghini is. Removing the roof of the incredible Murcielago coupe might have some unpleasant consequences on taking curves, but the Lamborghini team strived to minimize those effects. I must say that the convertible’s top is quite a problem, because is made of metal tubes and cloth and must be put in position manually. That’s why at a speed of more than 100 mph you risk loosing the top.

Under the hood, the Roadster hides a 6.2 liters V12 engine supplied by Audi that produces around 571 horsepower that helps the Murcielago go from zero to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds. And I must mention the 200 mph top speed that gives you the feeling you are alive and flying. And to face this amazing, powerful engine, the supercar has incredible Pirelli P-Zero Rossos tires that prevent the car from taking off the road. As an additional help, the 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster is equipped with a distribution system that allocates a 42/58 weight ratio for the front and the rear. This Murcielago is equipped with a six speed manual transmission or a six speed auto-clutch manual transmission.

When it comes to safety measures the 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster is equipped with an all wheels drive system and four wheel antilock brakes. Along with these safety measures, the Murcielago comes with side airbags for the driver and passenger, safety belts and door beams.

As any other sports car, the 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster offers comfort, luxury and high speed for its buyers. This supercar deserved the 2005 “spicy” price that ranged between $319,000 and $330,000. Nowadays, you can lease a 2005 Murcielago for only $3000 a day.

Lamborghini Murcielago 2011

New details about the next generation of Lamborghini Murcielago 2011 appeared on the internet. Is not clear yet if the next generation of Lamborghini Murcielago 2011 will be named the same, but most of the people believe that it will have more design elements like Reventon. Lamborghini Murcielago 2011 was recently spied during some tests near Estoril, Portugal, and all elements characteristics to this model could be seen clearly, including the scissors doors and lateral air admissions.

Lamborghini Murcielago 2011 will have a shield made of carbon fiber built around a chassis of composite carbon. This characteristic will maintain the low weight of the model in spite the fact that Lamborghini Murcielago 2011 will have an integral traction.

Lamborghini Murcielago 2011

The power of Lamborghini Murcielago 2011 will come from a V12 engine normally aspired, equipped with direct injection that develops more than 700 HP. The power will be given to the wheels through a sequential manual transmission. In this way the replacement of Murcielago will be with 30 HP more powerful than the older version that is going to be replaced (Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce). Lamborghini already registered in the United States of America the name Aventador so the American press thought that the replacement of Murcielago could be names this way.

With a V12 engine of 6.5 liters, that is positioned in the back of the driver and weight only 234 kilograms, the  latest Lamborghini Aventador has integral traction model Haldex and 700 power horses and its couple is developed at optimal speed of 5.500 rotations per minute. This tornado crosses the automatic transmission with seven treads, manufactured by Graziano Trasmissioni Group, for the reports to be changed only in 50 milliseconds. And you can be sure that everyone will know this because of the exhaust with double room.

Lamborghini Murcielago 2011 Aventador LP700-4 will not lose any second from the precious time of the lucky persons that will owe this car. The first 100 km per hour will be done in 2.9 seconds, faster that you can pronounce the name of the beast painted in Arancio Argos color. Its maximum speed can get to 350 km/h and if this big numbers didn’t convinced you, than you have to know that the price of the Lamborghini Aventador will be up to 255,000.00 euros on the old continent Europe. With all these being said, two things are very clear now: first that Ferrari remained completely discovered and second that Aventador is the first Lamborghini from which we didn’t expect to have a SuperVeloce version. I believe that humanity is not ready for this car at this moment, so you better prepare strongly to receive this car in your mind and heart.

With this Lamborghini Aventador, this car manufacturer locked in its place, in the supercars temple from Sant’Agata Bolognese, to the old Murcielago and then got ready for this new super car: Aventador LP700-4. It can also be called the legend destroyer because under that great carbon body shaped in the darkness of the secret workshops of hell, it hides the most psycho technology that Italians had ever created. And now they are ready to unleash the beast in front of everyone at the auto show in Geneva.

2003 Lamborghini Murcielago

The 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago is a two seats car and even if it looks less bold than the Lamborghini Diablo it’s still a masterpiece of car designer.

The 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago’s look reminds you of the Countach’s strange look, because of the angular shape accentuated by lush curves. This Lamborghini has a wedge shaped profile as the Diablo, but features an incredible cockpit integrated into the body creating the idea of a whole. The gull-wing doors complete the look. The entire body is made of carbon fiber, except the steel roof and the door panels. This Murcielago is equipped with wheels made from aluminum and Pirelli tires which are wider at the rear. The door’s opening angle is better than the one of the Diablo and because of the lower chassis entering and exiting in and out of the car is much easier.

The exterior is improved by the bi-xenon headlights and the outside mirrors than can be folded electronically and are placed on long arms allowing the driver to have a larger visibility. To help cooling the fierce engine placed under the hood, this car has a lot of visible air intakes. Moreover, two of these intakes, placed at the rear, use the Variable Airflow Cooling System that maintains the same aperture when the driving conditions change. An interesting feature of the 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago is the movement of the rear spoiler into three different positions.

When you get inside the 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago, you are impressed by the attention paid to the comfort of both the driver and the passenger. Leather is the key word when it comes to the trim, the upholstered seats and the three spoke steering wheel. All the needed options are available for this amazing car including the air conditioning with climate control, the Alpine audio system with AM/FM, the CD player, the remote power locks and the ventilation system with recirculation setting. Moreover, the instrumentation is placed on an electronically controlled dashboard. An optional feature is the satellite-based navigation system.

If the interior makes you feel comfortable and ready for a ride, the fierce “bull” hosted under the hood makes you feel alive. The $280,000 Murcielago is equipped with a 6.2 liters V12 engine that produces no more and no less than 571 horsepower. The V12 engine has four valves per cylinder, multipoint fuel injection, dry-sump oiling, DOHC and variable intake and exhaust cam timing. The Lamborghini has developed a second V10 model of engine with 500 hp and four-wheel drive for this Murcielago.

The car goes from zero to 100 km/h in only 3.5 seconds and can reach 330 km/h as top speed. The first six-speed manual transmission equips this Murcielago along with a drive by wire electronic throttle control system. The suspension used on the Murcielago is similar to the one used for the Diablo with upper and lower control arms. Furthermore, it is equipped with a traction control system needed for extreme driving.

When it comes to the safety of the 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago the engineers did their homework and took care of all the details. The car is equipped with a four disk brakes system, a 4 channel ABS system with Dynamic Rear Proportioning and a TRW antilock braking system. In addition to this, the 2003 Murcielago has two airbags, a 60-liter bag with single inflator for the driver and a 130 liters bag with dual inflator for the passenger.

The 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago is an amazing car that truly combines an incredible design with a high performance engine in order to obtain a supercar.

2002 Lamborghini Murcielago

The Lamborghini Murcielago is a two seats sports car manufactured by Lamborghini in 2001. The name of the car is the Spanish name for the bat, describing a four wheels drive luxury sports car.

The 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago is a great example for the impressive work Lamborghini did and continues to do for more than 40 years in this field. The car is a mixture of extreme creativity and high performance, both engineering and technical. Moreover, the 2002 Murcielago looks outrageous because of the Belgium touch of Luc Donckerwolcke, a member of the Audi design studio. This supercar demonstrates that the team work between Audi and Volkswagen influenced positively the “macchina Italiana” (Lamborghini) providing high engineering, quality and design.

2002 Lamborghini Murcielago

The Murcielago has a carbon fiber body with a steel tubular design. Only the roof and the two amazing scissor doors are completely made of steel. That gives it a cleaner look than the one of its predecessor, the Diablo.

The 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago is equipped with a 6.2 liter DOHC V-12 engine that produces 571 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. This engine has the first six-speed manual transmission ever used by Lamborghini. The Murcielago turns from zero to 100 km in 3.8 seconds. Also, the car is equipped with traction control, an electronically controlled suspension and big antilock disc brakes.

Because of the enormous heat that is generated by this powerful engine, the engineers came up with an incredible technical solution to cool down the engine. This solution was the Variable Airflow Cooling System that includes adjustable cooling ducts that are placed over the rear wheels. The driver can manually open or close the ducts with the help of a dash control and in this way he can improve the speed, managing the aerodynamics.

Some incredible features that are designed especially for the engine’s flexibility (so that the driver’s speed demands wouldn’t be left aside) are the variable valve timing, the VAC system and the drive by wire electronic throttle. The car is also designed with coil springs and shock absorbers that are equipped with electronic damping.

2002 Lamborghini Murcielago interior

Even if the rear wheels support more than 58 percent of its weight, the Murcielago is easy to control. Moreover, the lower center of gravity, the traction control and the all-wheel drive are useful if you want to master its horse powers. Because of all these features the 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago remains firm on the road and helps you enjoy the adrenaline flow, keeping you safe in the same time.  The driver is also helped by the driver-selectable electronic damper settings.

The interior is also incredible and offers even more comfort and efficiency to the driver and the passenger. The dashboard has all the components placed handy in front of the driver and the radio controls and the automated climate are easy to reach. The interior is covered in leather, including the seats that have strong side bolsters specially designed to hold you tight while the 2002 Murcielago speeds on the road and takes the turns. Moreover, this car has an incredible audio and navigation system that will help you relax and get in time to your destination.

This 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago is an incredible supercar, a dream come true for most of us. But you know that nothing worth having ever comes cheap in this world, so unfortunately in order to be the owner of a fierce “bull” you will have to pay at least $273,000 (the price for the standard model). Once again the Lamborghini tradition has created a supercar, many of us think about.

As you might have guessed, all of these figures were accomplished by doing some extensive upgrade to the engine. The power kit features modified cylinder heads, a revised intake system that has a hand-made intake manifold, new air ducts and a high flow airbox. In addition, the LP 750 comes with catalytic converters, high performance exhaust headers, new mufflers, bucket tappets, more aggressive camshafts, high flow air filters and new exhaust tips. They also tweaked the car’s ECU.

Lamborghini might bring two new models to the Paris Motor Show

Lamborghini might bring two new models to the Paris Motor Show

By now, almost everybody knows Lamborghini is teasing a brand new model ahead of the Paris Motor Show‘s start, later this month.

But while almost everyone thought that it will present the new Murcielago replacement, the Jota, things might be a bit more complicated. A new report from 0-60 magazine reveals that the Italian supercar manufacturer will reveal not one but two new models in the French capital.

The second model is codenamed 83X, and might feature a V10 engine, as highlighted by the third teaser image released last week (featured above). According to previous rumors, the Jota will be powered by a direct injection V12, so there might be some fact to this speculation.

Currently though, Lamborghini is keeping a tight wrap on things, so we can only wait until the Paris show begins.
