Buy A Lamborghini Reventon

Most people think that a car is necessary only as a mean of transportation between their work place and their house. But some people are interested in owning unique and fast cars just for fun. Therefore, the three key words that describe a dream car for a car enthusiast are super look, super speed and super performance.

If you are one of these car lovers then I have the answer to your prayers, a fast and luxurious supercar called Lamborghini Reventon. That’s the perfect choice for any demanding buyer. This is a dream car specially manufactured for those who love sports cars and like feeling the adrenaline flowing through their veins. Buy a Lamborghini Reventon and your addiction will be satisfied!

Lamborghini Reventon

The name of this incredible supercar is related to power and high performance, the main qualities of any car manufactured by the Italian automaker. If you take a look at the Lamborghini Reventon, your first impression is that it looks like an airplane and that’s true because the inspirational source used to create this sports car was the American F22 fighter plane. The exterior is made of carbon fiber and as a result this Lamborghini weighs less than other sports cars. It also features seven LEDs placed at each headlamp flank. Once you step inside the car, luxury and style become the new key words. It features all the modern gadgets including 3 TFT liquid crystal displays, an instrument panel protected by carbon fiber, a G-Force-Meter and many more. These are the most important arguments that might convince you to buy a Lamborghini Reventon. And if that’s not enough I must say this car is one of the most exquisite vehicles because of its engineering components as well.

So, in my opinion, the piece of resistance which will definitely convince you to buy a Lamborghini Reventon is the powerful engine and its horsepower. Under the hood are hidden the most incredible high performance engineering components and one of the most powerful engines. Why am I saying that? Because this supercar is equipped with a 6.5 liter V12 engine able to produce 640 horsepower. As a result, this car can go from zero to 62 mph in only 3.4 seconds while the maximum speed reached by this fierce bull is of 221 mph. Because of this top speed, the Reventon is one of the fastest cars in the world. That’s why I think you should become interested in buying a Lamborghini Reventon as soon as possible if you want to own a jet on wheels.

You also have the opportunity to choose the newest model of Lamborghini Reventon, the Roadster version. This new version is equipped with the same engine as the Murcielago LP670-4 SV and produces an incredible power. The 6.4 liter engine helps the car to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in only 3.4 seconds and to reach a maximum speed of 205 mph. Even if it is one of the most expensive cars in the world, the Roadster has an unique design and is also the most exquisite car in the supercar department, representing the best combination of power, elegance and speed.

I think that all this information has convinced you that the perfect way to actually own the most stylish, luxurious and fastest sports car in the world is to buy a Lamborghini Reventon. And if you have already decided to satisfy your desire, then you should know that the regular model of Lamborghini Reventon has a base price of 1.6 million dollars while the Roadster version price tag starts at 1.1 million Euros.

2008 Lamborghini

The Lamborghini Reventon was launched more than three years ago, yet to this very day it continues to amaze us all. The simple passing by of a Reventon sends anyone that gets to take a glimpse at it in a frenzy discussing shapes and sizes, speed and performance looks and price and so on.

When you look at it you’re simply blocked, it holds all the characteristics of a Lamborghini but there’s nothing out there even remotely similar to it. The Reventon is truly without equal. It’s a production road vehicle with performance values off the charts. This limited edition masterpiece has been integrated with every upgrade in car AND aeronautics technology.

Only 20 cars have been produced, each one nothing less than 1 million Euro, by this the Reventon gives exclusivity a new meaning. With performance specs unrivaled by any exotic car, the Reventon seems to be the opponent of  … jet fighters.

2008 Lamborghini

Lamborghini prides itself as the manufacturer of these extreme and exclusive vehicles that bare no compromise. Sensual, dynamic and challenging, this is the mark of the “Bull God”. The Reventon lives up to its title, bringing an extreme design and superlative specs. The Lamborghini Style Center took the basis from the Murcielago LP640 and morphed them into something completely new. If you’ve got a Lamborghini Reventon in your garage than you’re 1 in 700.000.000. The fabled name of Reventon comes from a famous bull owned by the Rodriguez family. It gained its fame from killing the beloved bullfighter Felix Guzman back in ’43.

The present Lamborghini can be easily recognized from their distinctive design which set them apart from other cars. Each car element is manufactured exactly for a purpose and to complete its function, you will not be seeing ornaments or decorations in a Lamborghini car (not that it would need any).

The Reventon has been developed according to the speed and dynamism philosophy, and has been inspired from a field where speed and dynamics are absolute leaders: aeronautic technology, which is currently responsible for the most radical and fastest of jet fighters. The new design idea that uses interrupted lines and surfaces filled with angles and contortions, create an extreme effect and unbeatable performance at high speeds.

Despite the fact that it’s based on the respected Murcielago LP 640, the bodywork of the Reventon is completely redesigned. The exterior is manufactured with a special carbon fiber material that molds perfectly over the chassis of the car. All the exterior components have been glued together and fixed to the body made of steel and CFC (carbon fiber composite).

The front has been redesigned so that big frontal air intakes could be integrated. Despite the fact that air does not go directly to the turbine like in a plane, considering that the car is powered up by a 650 hp engine, there is a lot of cool air needed to cool down the carbon fiber brakes.

Talking numbers, the Lamborghini Reventon is worthy of racing jet fighters. With a 6.5 liter V12 turbine of an engine, it develops a staggering 650 hp reaching 8000 rpm. The power to liters distribution is amazing the Reventon receiving 100 hp for every liter. Weighing little over 1500 kg and with that much power under the hood, the Reventon takes off and reaches from 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and continuing to increase more and more in acceleration until it finally reaches it’s top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph). And even at that speed the Reventon will have a firm grip of the ground.

2010 Lamborghini

In 2007 the Lamborghini Company released during the Frankfurt Motor Show its most expensive Lamborghini road car, the Lamborghini Reventon. This car is a mid-engine sports car that achieves a top speed of 340 km/h. Even if its exterior was completely new, under the hood all the mechanical components were similar with the ones of the Murcielago LP640. The officials announced that only 20 cars were built, but in reality 100 units were manufactured.

In 2009 was released the roadster version of the Lamborghini Reventon that impressed the audience that was part of the Frankfurt Motor Show, but the 2010 Lamborghini Reventon Roadster was the one that made its competitors, McLaren and Mercedes, actually tremble.

2010 Lamborghini

This 2010 Lamborghini has a carbon fiber body with aggressive 18 inches wheels. Under the hood this 2010 Lamborghini is proud to be the owner of a 6.5 Liter V12 that produces 670 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque, connected to a six speed e-gear transmission. All this high performance allows this supercar to go from zero to 100 km/h in only 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 303 km/h.

Speed involves breaks and the carbon-fiber ceramic discs which are standard with a diameter of 380 mm, will have definitely a high durability in time. The wheels have 18 inch in diameter. Moreover, brakes are cooled because of the air channels that are included in the bodyshell of the car.

The design of the 2010 Lamborghini Reventon Roaster is focused on maximum functionality and comfort. The statement is proved by features such as the air intakes, the upward opening scissors doors or the arrowhead form placed in the front. All the details are stylish: the rear LED laps or the headlamps.

The 2010 Lamborghini Reventon Roadster is 4700 mm long and has a wheelbase of 2665 mm. The seating positions of the driver and the passenger are sporty and low while behind them two pop-up bars are hidden and in case of a rollover they deploy upwards in a few hundredths of seconds. You can admire the impressive V12 engine from the outside because of the four glass windows that cover it. To monitor performance, the Reventon is equipped with a G-force meter, also used in Formula 1 that indicates the intensity of the forces acting on the car when it accelerates, slows down or takes a heavy turn.

The cell of this car is made from steel profile and carbon components as well as the bodyshell. The exterior is finished by a unique paint: the new matt Lamborghini grey. In addition to this, due to the metal particles, the exterior of the 2010 Lamborghini Reventon Roadster benefits from an impression of depth.

When it comes to the interior this car offers buyers the same high quality. All the technical components are placed handy, are manufactured from aluminum and placed in a carbon fiber dashboard. The material that covers the interior of the car is leather and when you enter inside you get the feeling of an aircraft cockpit. The two LCD displays on the interior complete the look of the car.

2010 Lamborghini

What else can I tell you? Once again Lamborghini manufactured a powerful, stylish and futurist supercar that helped it to maintain its high prestige. But I must tell you that if you really want this car it won’t come cheap. The price tag indicates no more and no less than $1,600,000 or 1.1 million Euro.  And if for your money you want to get exclusivity as well you should choose the open-top 2010 Lamborghini Reventon, because only 20 were manufactured.

VR Camaro coming to the UK, a cross between a Chevy and a Lamborghini Reventon

The UK has been getting the short stick lately in terms of the American muscle cars, as models like the Mustang or Challenger could only be imported from the US, which meant many taxes and, the most troublesome, being stuck with a left-hand drive car.

But for fans of the Chevrolet Camaro a major surprise is brewing, as next year will see the premiere of the VR Camaro, a customized version of the American muscle car, which takes some major styling cues from the Lamborghini Reventon and comes with a much-welcomed right hand drive option.

In terms of power, the VR Camaro will have plenty, as it will come with a special high performance braking system, a coilover suspension and, most importantly, a supercharger which takes its output to well above 600 HP.

As I’ve said, on the outside the VR Camaro takes some cues from Lamborghini’s exclusive Reventon, with the biggest shock coming from the front, with the aggressive fascia. Side skirts and a set of lighter 22-inch wheels have been added, as well as lighter carbon fiber body panels. The rear ends with a retro duck tail spoiler. The VR Camaro will come in two flavors, either white with orange accents or black with orange accents, both looking superb.

Lamborghini Reventon Roadster Revealed by First Pictures

Did you manage to get your hands on one of the 20 Lamborghini Reventon models when they was announced at 2007′s Frankfurt Motor Show? Great. Now, for those of you who didn’t or those who want the wind to blow their hair when riding in this road-legal stealth fighter, the Italian supercar manufacturer has unveiled the first pictures of the Roadster version of the Lamborghini Reventon.

Only the pictures have surfaced for now, but it’s safe to say that the primary goal of the engineers was to further improve the car and, of course, chopping its top off. As you can see, all of the major distinguishing features are there, including the peculiarly shaped front and rear bumpers, as well as the 18-inch wheels and custom interior, all contributing to the jet fighter look of the Italian hypercar.

Most likely the mechanics of the prestigious car won’t be changed, as we can expect the same 6.5 liter V12 engine to produce 650 HP (478 kW) and 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) of torque in order to really get the wind to blow through your hair. The gearbox might be the same six-speed e-gear one which will transfer the power to all of the wheels of the car. With a 0 to 100 km/h or 60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, the max speed will be around 340 km/h or 211 mph.

Be ready to fork out about the same amount of money, 1.2 million Euros or $1,0750,000 for any of the predicted 20 units which will be made.

A few cars you can see in Chechnya

We’re sure everyone heard of Chechnya. Not much to say about the region, except for the never ending war with Russia. You’d say that there’s nothing interesting about cars going on over there but, oh boy, you sure are wrong. Because if you imagine all you can see there is some third world scenery, you’re making a big mistake. While common in Monte Carlo or Beverly Hills, you wouldn’t expect chechnyans to drive a Lamborghini Reventon, a Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe, a McLaren SLR or an Audi R8. Not to mention those Porsche Cayennes and Mercedes Benz ML AMGs fleets. Of course, we wouldn’t want to know what these guys do for a living, but we’re sure they don’t write for an unleashed car blog or grow corn.

Lamborghini Reventon available on eBay

Let’s assume that you had 1 million Euros (around $1.4 million) to spend on a Lamborghini Reventon, but didn’t got the chance to place your order for one of the 20 units that were on sale. Well, we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that one Reventon (number 3 out of the 20) showed up for sale on eBay. The bad news is that it will cost you more (the Buy It Now price was set at $2,500,000). The car is being sold by Sillicon Valley Auto Group, located in Los Gatos, California. So, what are you waiting for, hurry up and place your bids on the auction page!

No money for a Reventon? Get a Veno!

The Lamborghini Reventon is exclusivity taken to the extreme, only 25 ever made, each with a price tag of €1 million, and has been sought after by a lot of car enthusiasts which have the spending power to buy it. Well polish supercar manufacturer Veno thought that there might be a market for all those who didn’t get to buy a Lambo, and came up with this replica after the italian model.

Sure, the company said it has taken the design from jet aircrafts, and that it represents the hard work of their design team (who probably just searched Google for images of the Reventon) and that the quality of the supercar will match and even overcome producers like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani or Koenigsegg. The engines available will be taken from Audi, their 4.2 litre V8, with three versions, capable of delivering 350, 450 and 700 HP, and later on, customers will be able to equip it with engined taken from the Corvette C6, including the one from the Z1, a 6.8 litre V8. Other tehnological innovations include carbon fiber used in most of the body parts and in the brake discs, a night vision camera capable of detecting pedestrians or onboard computer with access to wireless Internet. Plus, their green department has stated that the company is currently experimenting with an electric powered version, equipped with the newest generation of high performance batteries.

Although they said that about 50 cars will be made, I’m sure once that Lamborghini’s lawyers find out about this car, they’re going to have a field day. Until then, feast your eyes with their fruits of “hard labour”. One more photo after the jump. (more…)

Last available Lamborghini Reventon arrives in Las Vegas

Everyone agrees that the Lamborghini Reventon is one of the coolest cars ever made. Presented last year at the Frankfurt show, the car was produced in a limited run of only 20 units, plus another two units, which will be kept by Lamborghini. Of these 20 units, 19 are already sold and the last available car arrived this weekend at the Lamborghini dealership in Las Vegas.

Priced at 1 million Euros (without taxes), the Reventon is basically the result of a mating between an Murcielago LP640 and a fighter jet. Based on the LP640, the car’s engine develops 650 hp (10 hp more than the LP640) and though its performance figures are not changed, the body kit is a result of Lambo engineers and designers using fighter jet aerodynamics.

As we said, the car is priced at around $1.5 million, but considering that it’s the last available unit and that it’s Vegas, we expect the model to be sold with more than that.

Check out more photos after the jump.
