Fast and Furious 6 is on the way

We got lucky. Our patience did not left us and we stayed for the ending credits of Fast Five. We got to witness and see the breadcrumbs the producer left us.

Two more minutes of FBI searching for criminals on wheels. They found something. Looks like Fast and Furious 6 is on the way with Michelle Rodriguez in the cast again as Letty. No other details are yet exposed, but we’ll keep you posted with updates.

4 cars you’ll not see in Fast Five

Buick Century – this car looks like was Tango and Cash’s mystery machine. We’re not sure it will fit in a Vin Diesel blockbuster.

Smart Fortwo – It may be for two but we think Dwanye would not fit into this tiny automobile.

Volkswagen Polo 1999 – Fine piece of teenager automobile. A round of bullets from Vin Diesel’s shotgun should blast this german car out of Rio de Janeiro. No go, no show.

Renault Sandero – Are you actually seing Paul Walker letting hell loose from the driver’s seat of a Sandero? Not in this Fast Five.

Until Fast Five‘s launch date there’s plenty of time for laughing about what goes and what stays. It’s just a matter of imagination.

Next Bumblebee Chevrolet Camaro spied on Transformers 3 movie set

GM is ready to once again fully endorse film maker Michael Bay and his next explosion-gasm movie, Transformers 3, which is currently in production around various cities of the world.

In that endorsement is included a new edition of the Bumblebee Camaro, which, in case you’re not familiar with the Transformers franchise, is the car form of Autobot (aka good robot) Bumblebee. Now, thanks to a few eagle-eyed paparazzi who were tailing Megan Fox, we have the first photos of the next Bumblebee.

Before you ask, that floral marking is just a watermark the guys at Megan-Fox.net added onto the image. Rest assured the next Bumblebee Camaro will sport some new racing stripes, which will continue onto the roof of the car, but also a fresh wing which won’t go unnoticed. Concept-style rear-view mirrors are still present on this model, reminiscent of the fact that the first Transformers saw Bumblebee take the role of the Camaro concept model.

Still, right before or after Transformers 3 hits, expect GM to release a Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee Edition in order to capitalize on the hoards of people going to see the explosion festival which will no doubt be TF3.

Video: Audi R8 V10 Spyder gets promoted with Iron Man 2 movie

The Iron Man 2 movie is soon set to hit theaters around the world, and with it people will get to see comic book character Tony Stark wear his Iron Man armor and chase bad guys all around the world.

But what will he do when he isn’t fighting crime and chasing girls? He’ll drive around in a beautiful Audi R8 V10 Spyder model, as the Ingolstadt manufacturer poured quite a lot of money into the film. In order to get back this investment, a new ad, promoting both the movie and the car, has been released.

Ferrari 458 Italia set to become a robot in Transformers 3

Do you like Ferraris, big explosions, huge robots and hot chicks? Of course you do! That’s why this newest piece of information about the upcoming Transformers 3 movie will get you really excited.

The film’s director, Michael Bay, has just posted on his website that the movie, set to appear on July 1, 2011, will feature the talent of a new Autobot (those are the good robots, for those not familiar), which will take the shape a stunning Ferrari 458 Italia supercar.

No other data about the Italian Autobot was given, so we’re crossing our fingers and hoping that it won’t be a racial stereotype like what Transformers 2 did with two Chevrolet Spark-based bots. Either way, the movie is set to visit, and subsequently blow up, locations like “Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, Florida, Texas, Africa, Moscow, and China,” according to Bay.

Among the real-life actors set to appear include Shia LaBeouf (boo!), Megan Fox (yay!) and even John Malkovich. The project is entering pre-production, so until next year, we’re going to have to wait a while until we’ll see a Ferrari robot.

Swedish man creates his own Batmobile, spends three and a half years and $1 Million

“I’m currently looking through my schedule and it seems that I have about three and half years and about $1 Million which haven’t been occupied. I wonder if I can do something with my old 1973 Lincoln Continental which currently sits in front of my lawn…”

This is what might have passed through the mind of a Swedish man which has created a fully-functional Batmobile, the one from the Tim Burton era featured in movies like Batman and Batman Returns. He took an old Lincoln, spent a lot of time and money and the end result you can see above and below in a video taken on the streets of Stockholm.

It also seems that he incorporated quite a lot of gadgets any crime fighter would need, including machine guns (fake or not), satellite navigation, rear-view cameras, and for the times you go on stakeouts near the Joker’s hideout, a DVD player and a plasma TV. Coupled with the 700 HP the car supposedly produces, this is certainly an investment most Batman fans would be jealous of.

GM downshifts its contribution to Transformers 2 budget

Though you probably wouldn’t connect the two, it looks like the big mess GM is in is also affecting Hollywood, especially big budget productions. According to LA Times, GM, which is very close to bankruptcy decided to withdraw a large amount of the money which were suppose to go the Transformers sequel, ‘Transformers 2: The Revenge of the Fallen’. The decision came as quite a big hit for Paramount Pictures, because the Detroit carmaker was one of the key promotional partners of the movie. With a lot of hot movies coming this summer and without GM’s money, Paramount will definitely have to rethink the strategy for the advertising campaign to the Transformers 2, which hits cinemas on June 24.

“There’s so much competition out there for the entertainment dollar that studios and filmmakers really can’t open big, $100-million movies without the assistance of partner alliances that can help generate awareness and sell movie tickets,” said Norm Marshall, chief executive of NMA Entertainment, a brand marketing firm that’s been involved in movie “tie-in” campaigns for “Mama Mia!,” “Iron Man” and “Matrix Reloaded.”

Video: MTV shows new Fast and Furious clip

With less than a month left until the new Fast and Furious 4 movie will hit cinemas (on April 3), here’s a new movie clip recently released on MTV. In case you forgot, the fourth installment of the popular Fast and Furious series will feature both Vin Diesel and Paul Walker and, considering the last movie was a mess (except for the soundtrack), we’re really anxious to see the new movie who promises some real hardcore action. So, what do you think, is it gonna be any good?

Speed Racer movie trailer plus photos from Geneva

On May 9th, the Speed Racer movie will hit cinemas and it looks like an interesting movie. Based on the classic 1960′s Japanese animated series chronicling the aspirations of a young race car driver as he attempts to obtain glory, with the help of his family and the Mach 5, the advanced car created by his father. The movie is directed by the famous Wachowski brothers who directed the Matrix trilogy. Enjoy the trailer and, after the jump, check out the photos of the Mach 5 car replica we took at the Geneva Motor Show.
