Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 GTO

Last week we’ve showed you the tuning program for the Ferrari California and now Novitec Rosso has revealed another upgrade program, this time for the 599 GTO. The car’s huge V12 6.0-liter engine was fitted with twin superchargers, enlarged fuel injectors, a new intake manifold, big intercooler, high-flow air filters plus a new stainless steel sport exhaust system with 90 mm tailpipes.

All of these added goodies allow the engine to output a remarkable 876 hp (888 PS / 653 kW) and 6363 lb.-ft (862 Nm), an increase of 215 hp (218 PS / 160 kW) and 178 lb.-ft (242 Nm) of torque. The Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 GTO can now sprint to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and to 200 km/h in only 9.1 seconds, onto a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

Design-wise, they’ve installed lightweight rims that measure 21-inches in the front and 22-inches out in the back, wrapped around Pirelli PZero rubber, a front-axle lift up system, lowering springs and a very nice silver and yellow paint scheme that reminds us of the legendary 250 GTO that won the 1964 Tour de France.

Novitec Ferrari California

Novitec Ferrari California

One of the most beautiful Ferraris ever made, the California, just got a tuning package courtesy of Novitec who will be unveiling the car at the upcoming 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed Race 606 Ferrari California, Novitec Rosso has tweaked the car’s engine which now offers more power, along with a couple of aerodynamic changes in order to increase the downforce.

Novitec Ferrari California

The car has a V8 4.3-liter engine that features a mechanical supercharger driven by the crankshaft through a cogged V-belt, offering a maximum boost pressure of 0.4 bars. In addition, this Ferrari California packs larger injectors, a new intake manifold and a water-to-air intercooler.

All of these added goodies allow the engine to output 606 hp (446 kW) @ 7,900 rpm and 603 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. According to Novitec Rosso, the Race 606 Ferrari California needs 3.8 seconds to reach 60 mph, onto an impressive top speed of 325 km/h.

The car also received a flap-controlled, stainless steel NOVITEC ROSSO high-performance exhaust system that has sport catalysts and four very cool black-coated tailpipes. With the help of the Manetino located on the car’s steering wheel, the driver can adjust the exhaust note.

Novitec Ferrari California

Just like any respectable tuning program, the Novitec Rosso Ferrari California benefits from various carbon fiber parts which have been developed in the wind tunnel for reducing lift on both the front and rear axles. The car’s new bodykit features updated front and rear spoilers, a new rear diffuser, side air outlets, rocker panel blades and mirror covers that are made from matte clear-coated carbon-fiber.

Novitec Ferrari California

Last but not least, this California rides on 9Jx21 and 11.5Jx22 light alloy rims, wrapped around 255/30 ZR 21 and 315/25 ZR 22 Pirelli PZero rubber.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti gets one last tuning kit from Novitec Rosso

The guys at Novitec Rosso sure have a thing for Ferrari models as we’ve seen almost every model from the Italian supercar manufacturer get at least one tuning package.

Now, seeing as how a replacement for the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti grand tourer is set to arrive soon enough, the Dutch tuning company decided to bid a fond farewell to the impressive model with a last performance and aerodynamics kit.

As such, the 612 Scag has been upgraded from its 530 HP and 434 lb-ft of torque to a beefier 560 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque. The moderate power increase has an impact on the 0 to 62 mph, now under 4 seconds, and on the top speed, now over 200 mph.

You can choose to get either 20 or 21-inch wheels in this tuning kit, as well as darkened taillights and a few more exclusive options. The interior also received new material which can be catred to the wishes of the customers.

Novitec Rosso reveals Ferrari 599-based 848 Race tuning project

The Geneva Motor Show is nearly upon us, and traditional Ferrari tuners Novitec Rosso revealed the center piece of their booth at the prestigious convention: the 848 Race.

Based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, as you can tell by the name, the 848 Race squeezes 848 HP and 621 lb-ft of torque from the stock 6.0-liter V12 engine. How did it achieve such a thing? By adding in two turbochargers, a set of water-to-air intercoolers, a new exhaust system and, last but not least, an optimized ECU. The performance figures are quite impressive: 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 214 mph.

Other enhancements made by the guys at Novitec Rosso include a set of 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch ones at the back, performance Brembo brakes, a fully-adjustable sports suspension capable of lifting the 599′s front by up to 40mm (handy for those speed bumps) and a combination of aluminum and carbon fiber accents on the inside of the car.

No other details were given about this extremely powerful model, but you can wait until the Geneva Show opens its doors to the press tomorrow and to the general public on March 4th.

Novitec Rosso launches Edizione 747, squeezes more power out of the Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Even though Ferrari replace the current F430 with the newer 458 Italia, the special Scuderia high performance model of the old and reliable F430 is still quite popular, especially when it comes to tuning opportunities, fact highlighted by this new creation, dubbed Edizione 747, from Novitec Rosso.

As the name implies (no, they didn’t turn it into a Boeing plane or something like that), the tuners managed to extract a whopping 747 HP from the Scuderia’s V8 engine, all of which are available at 8,500 rpm, with a torque of 738 Nm. This is extremely impressive, as the Maranello engineers “only” managed to extact 510 HP in the stock Scuderia. In case you’re wondering, this massive increase in power is thanks to a new twin-turbocharger, a revamped ECU and a new cooling system with separate radiator.

All of this power translates into a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of just 3.4 seconds, and will reach 351 km/h (218 mph). Again, as a reminder, it will sprint from 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) in around 22.9 seconds, according to the tuning house.

In order to put the power on the road, the company also outfitted the Edizione 747 with a new set of high performance suspensions, lowering it with 30 mm, but also added a hydraulic system, which can raise the system by 40 mm, in case you want to get over speedbumps without losing your front bumper, or park on a curb.

Speaking of looks, the Edizione 747 received a matte paint, but not in the already old black, as Novitec opted for a yellow one, in combination with a gray batch. The head and tail lamps also got darkened, to reflect the power of this model.

Black Ferrari “TuNero” by Novitec Rosso

I am sure some of you won’t like this car, but I love it. And if you wonder, no, the photos aren’t black and white, this is just the Ferrari “Tu Nero”, a tuning program for the Ferrari F430, by Novitec Rosso. You know them, we presented some time ago their version of the Ferrari 599 GTB.

Now back to the F430 “TuNero”, this car is amazing, starting with its performances (707 hp at 8,350 rpm, 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and a whooping top speed of 348 km/h) and continuing with its body-kit, especially that black paint finish, black wheels and black rear lights. Everything is black at this car, even the interior. Probably it feels a little weird owning this car, but I’m sure it’s a wonderful sensation. Enjoy more photos after the jump.
