Top Marques Monaco – Gemballa Tornado & Mistrale Revealed
My top 10 of ugly cars features the Porsche Cayenne and the Panamera and both of them received a makeover courtesy of Gemballa. Unveiled this week at the Top Marques Monaco, the Tornado and the Mistrale are both fitted with a disgraceful carbon fiber bodykit that looks awful, further emphasizing the ugliness of the cars. Inside, things are a little bit better thanks to the leather/Alcantara interior.
Gemballa also offers new sets of 22-inch alloy rims which are not bad at all, but putting them on these cars was a bad idea. Anyway, the tuning specialists also offer two performance packages. The Stage One kit helps the 4.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine develop 572 hp (580 PS / 427 kW) in the Tornado and 602 hp (610 PS / 449 kW) in the Mistrale. The Stage Two package increases the power output for both cars to 690 hp (700 PS / 515 kW) and 737 lb.-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque.
Only 30 units will be made from each model, but they didn’t reveal any pricing information.
