World’s fastest SLR revealed

What we have here is the “world’s fastest SLR”, a result of the collaboration between Platinum Motorsport, Exotics Boutique, RENNtech and MACarbon. The body aerodynamics is the work of Mansory while RENNtech developed the performance upgrade that includes a heavily modified supercharger.

The output of the engine in this Mercedes-Benz SLR is somewhere around 770 hp (781 PS / 574 kW) which allows the car to do the quarter-mile in only 10.29 seconds while hitting 134 mph (216 km/h). RENNtech also worked on the car’s transmission for allowing a smoother transfer of all those ponies to the drive wheels. The suspension feature racing coilovers with a three-way adjustability and a hydraulic lift kit that can adjust the height of the SLR by 45mm.

The car is scheduled to make an appearance in November at the SEMA show in Las Vegas where it will be sitting on Agetro M140 monoblock wheels that measure 20 inches.
