10 funny auto-related Yahoo Answers | Rpmgo.com

As we researched for the RPMGO Answers feature, we examined the Yahoo! Answers special Cars & Transportation section.

While we found some pretty legitimate questions which do require some knowledge, we also found some hilarious, awkward and damn right stupid ones, which also received some pretty … imaginative answers from the Yahoo! community.

As we couldn’t just keep them for ourselves, we decided to tally up some of the funniest questions and replies from Yahoo Answers, all related to cars and the automotive industry, of course. Hit the jump to check them out.

10. How can I get out of a speeding ticket?

Speeding tickets happen to almost any driver, so it’s not out of the ordinary for some to want to get out of paying the fine. Noticing that the officer didn’t write down the correct color of his car, one guy thought he could get away. Luckily someone from Yahoo Answers gave him a better idea.

9. How can I get the money for car stolen by friends?

Alright, this guy just proves that he should do four things: a) get better friends; b) keep the car keys on him at all time, especially during a party; c) get his car’s MOT up to date; d) get better friends.

8. How much should I be making in order to own a Ferrari?

When we were small, almost all of us dreamed about owning a fast sportscar, most likely a Ferrari. We didn’t care about where we will get the money, how will we maintain it or even park it. This guy though, thought of doing a little research before getting such a sportscar. Sadly, I don’t think he liked the answers he got.

7. Mom wants to rent a Chevrolet Corvette and give it to his 21 year old son, is it a bad idea?

Parents always want what’s best for their children, and this means indulging quite a few of their wishes. This mom though, should learn that eager young boy + fast rear-wheel drive car doesn’t equal anything remotely good. Let’s help her out shall we? Short answer: NO! Long answer: NOOOOO!

6. Do obese people riding in cars affect the fuel average?

Now, I don’t know about you guys, but I think such a question can be answered with a bit of common sense. It seems that this Melanie girl lacked a bit of it. As the weight of the car goes over its regular curb weight, the fuel consumption grows because the engine needs that more power to move the car.

5. My Bugatti Veyron has been scratched, what do I do?

If you had enough money for a Bugatti Veyron hypercar, then you’d surely have enough to get it to the dealership to get it fixed. But considering the company only lets special mechanics fiddle with it, which usually need to be flew in to do the procedure, perhaps it would be best to just buy a new one. That’s what the low flying pelican guy did, and it seems it worked out for him.

4. What are the bets places to drive a fast car?

Of course most of the answers to such a question were along the lines of taking it to a special track or on a closed road. But this answer was extremely funny.

3. If your car says Dodge on it, do you still use the horn?

I have to admit this question doesn’t really score a lot of points in originality, but the answer it got caused a lot of laughs for sure. Be careful though when you encounter either a Dodge or a Ram model anytime soon.

2. Is it safe to drive while high?

This question brought a collective facepalm to anyone who read it. Of course the guy says that “a friend” drove while being intoxicated, but it still doesn’t excuse such a behavior. Thankfully the answers were hilarious as always.

1. How to tell the difference between a girl and a tranny?

Ugh, this one is just so bizarre it boggles the mind. It seems Yahoo suggested this answer should be a part of the car section, and the guy was alright with it. SoCal thankfully gave one of the most epic answers ever.

These are just some of the hilarious things we found on Yahoo! Answers. No doubt we’ll find some more while we continue to browse this encyclopedia of human knowledge, so be ready for more such features in the future.
