Everyone’s expecting the official press release announcing the production-ready 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, which should be released these days, but until then we’ve got some leaked info and photos of the car. Available in three trim-levels (LS, LT and an SS), the new Camaro will come with two engine choices, a 296 hp 3.6 liter V6 and a 416 hp 6.2 liter V8, both able to run on fewer cylinders when necessary, to improve mileage.
We also know that the new Camaro will feature all-independent suspension with StabiliTrak stability control and that the SS version will get 4-pot Brembo brakes. That’s about it so far, but we’re expecting the GM press release later today, so stay tuned for more. You can also watch the Camaro’s premiere live, starting at 4 pm EDT, on the GM website.
Check out the rest of the leaked photos after the jump.
