BMW 1-Series M Coupe MotoGP Safety Car

At the end of this week the 2011 MotoGP season kicks off with the Grand Prix of Qatar. BMW’s 1-Series M Coupe will be in charge of handling the safety car duties and the automaker has made a few changes to the original model by installing an Akrapovic sport exhaust system, a big rear wing, a chin spoiler, along with BMW Motorsport’s tri-color paint scheme. Rounding up the changes are the exhaust tips and the wheels which have a black finish.

There is no information available at the moment regarding the possibility of launching the accessories of the MotoGP pace car to the general public.
