2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe
Hyundai has introduced the other day the Coupe version of the Elantra which will be arriving in U.S. dealerships later on this year. The transformation from the 4-door sedan to the 2-door coupe doesn’t bring a lot of modifications, except of course from the two elongated front doors.

Other than that, the Coupe features a black trim on the lower part of the rear bumper, different fog lamp surroundings, along with a new trunk that incorporates a spoiler. The Coupe is approximately half an inch longer than its sedan sibling, measuring 178.7 inches, while the rest of the vehicle’s dimensions have remained exactly the same at 56.5 inches tall, 69.9 inches wide and with a wheelbase of 106.3 inches.

According to the Korean company, the 2013 Elantra Coupe offers a total interior volume of 110.2 cubic feet while the trunk can hold up to 14.8 cubic feet, figures that are higher than what the 2012 Kia Forte Koup and the 2012 Honda Civic Coupe can offer.

The 2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe is motivated by the same engine available for the sedan, which is a 4-cylinder 1.8-liter unit that delivers 148 hp and a peak torque of 131 lb.-ft. The horsepower is sent to the wheels in the front via a 6-speed automatic gearbox that allows the car to return 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. With the 6-speed manual, the Elantra Coupe delivers 29 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.
