RpmGO.com (former Auto Unleashed) is a weblog established in March, 2007 which covers news about these extraordinary things called cars. We write about auto industry news, new car launches, concept cars, motorsport news and about everything related to cars. We also have a photo gallery, with a lot of car photos and a video section.

Of course, we don’t claim we know everything, so, if you know something we don’t, feel free to send us a tip.

Important moments in RPMGO (Auto Unleashed)’s life:

March 16, 2007: Vlad and Bobby register the autounleashed.com domain name.

March 18, 2007: The first post is published (link).

August 8, 2007: Auto Unleashed gets featured for the first time on the front page of Digg.com (link). Now, we’ve been on Digg 13 times.

September 23, 2007: We create our YouTube profile, to showcase all the interesting videos we get.

October 12, 2007: Since we have tons of photos for almost each post, we decide to create the photo gallery.

February 28, 2008: We take a car on our first test drive. The car was a 2008 B8 Audi A4 and we drove it for two weeks. Many more test drives followed.

March 4-5, 2008: We attend our first major international auto show, the Geneva Motor Show, in Switzerland.

April 11, 2008: We thought it will be cool to join the Twitter madness and keep in touch with our readers, newly found friends, industry people, etc so we create our profile. This was the first tweet.

September 22, 2008: New test drive section is created. Since we get to review so many cars, we thought it would be best to create a special section for that.

October 2-3, 2008: Auto Unleashed goes to the 2008 Paris Motor Show, in France.

Februray 6, 2009: The domain name, autounleashed.com is hijacked from our registrar, Namecheap. All activity stops and we try to solve the issue.

March 8, 2009 After a lot of efforts, we decide it’s best to move everything to a new domain name, so RPMGO is live. Activity resumes because we really missed all the fun.

September 11, 2009 Finally, a year later than scheduled, the RPMGO team grows and Andrei Dobra becomes RPMGO’s first permanent editor (until then, Vlad was doing almost all of the publishing work).

September 15-16, 2009 We go to the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the first big international auto show we attend after our forced rebranding.

October 3-4 , 2009 RPMGO is invited to Citroen’s 90th anniversary celebrations in Paris. Though we have received several invitations to different international events in the past, we didn’t have the time or the resources to attend all of them and the Citroen birthday is the first (out of many, we hope) major event of this kind we attend.

October 07, 2009 RPMGO is listed as one of the “must-read auto blogs” by Forbes.com.
