Audi RS3 by MTM
If you’re one of those people who thinks that 335 hp (340 PS / 250 kW) and 332 lb.-ft (450 Nm) of torque is not enough for the standard Audi RS3, then you should have a look at MTM’s tuning program which raises the output of the engine to 466 hp (472 PS / 347 kW) and 442 lb.-ft (600 Nm).
Audi RS3 by MTM
How they managed to do this? Well, they’ve fitted the power unit with a modified turbocharger as well as a brand new sport exhaust system. More power demands for beefier brakes and the tuner from MTM did just that.
Audi RS3 by MTM
This Audi RS3 tuned by Motoren Technik Mayer (MTM) is able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in only 4.1 seconds, which is 0.5 faster than the standard version, while the top speed is 181 mph (292 km/h). The German tuner also throws in a set of 19-inch bimoto rims.

2012 Audi A6
The gorgeous 2012 Audi A6 has managed to win the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s Top Safety Pick award. In order to qualify, a car must be able to earn the highest rating of “good” in the IIHS’ front, rear, side and rollover tests and it also must come as standard with electronic stability control.
The A6 did very well in the roof strength test where it managed to withstand a force equal to almost 5 times the curb weight of the car. This test assets how well the passengers would hold up in case of a rollover crash and a good rating is awarded to those cars that have a strength-to-weight ratio of at least 4 times.
As far as the front crashworthiness evaluations are concerned, these are based on the results of 40 mph frontal offset crash tests. The overall evaluation of each car is based upon a series of measurements of intrusion into the passenger compartment, the injuries recorded on a dummy placed in the driver seat as well as an analysis of a slow-motion film to find out how well the restraint system controlled the movement of the dummy during the test.
Regarding the side evaluations, these are based upon the performance in a crash test in which one of the vehicle’s sides is struck by a barrier that is moving at a speed of 31 mph. This barrier represents the front end of an SUV or a pickup truck.
Lastly, the rear crash protection is evaluated by conducting a test that can simulate a collision in which a car that isn’t moving is hit in the rear at 20 mph.

Meet Audi Connect, the car that pretends to be connected to reality. So, about that, let’s see which are its features that make it special and how this could become a car for a variety of classes, not only for the luxury segment.
Apparently, as necessary in the current times, mobile terminals are integrated (smartphone and internet applications included), but this is not all. Audi vehicles with Audi Connect can communicate with the infrastructure, meaning that the driver can get alerts about changing traffic lights, about congested crossroads.
As about safety, cars also communicated with each other in order to avoid accidents and it features an auto pilot function for driving and even for parking.
By integrating all these elements, Audi connect provides a full range of highly relevant information for the driver, from Google maps, to street view functions, news, weather services and travel information. Besides that, the driver is in no moment distracted from the road, as the devices are activated and work using speech commands.
Audi Connect will be installed in more and more Audi models n coming years and it will constantly continue to develop new and new features and technologies.
Is it something that you wish to have on your car and Audi Connect does not have?

Right from the start I have to mention that I am not a big fan of television drama but the other day I saw an interesting preview of a new show called Untitled Jersey City Project, created by Studio Progress Films. They’ve teamed up with FX to roll out a new entertainment concept that spans over eight episodes that will eventually lead to a bigger story of power, money, fame and death.
The action of this show takes place in the Jersey City waterfront where the local developers are cashing in on the necessity of the city for expansion, a growth needed as soon as possible. Aside from the story and the trailers seen so far, I also liked that there are a bunch of Audis driven by various actors in the show. You’ll see architects, developers and journalists, all of them driving some of the cars that come out from the company’s Ingolstadt home.
The story seems interesting; the actors are quite good, while that 2012 Audi A6 makes the show even more appealing, at least in my opinion. It certainly is an interesting project and we hope there will be more than just eight episodes because it has potential.
PS: Hoping to see an R8 or at least a TT RS in the show. Fingers crossed.

Audi Q3 S/RS
It seems that pretty soon the Ingolstadt-based automaker Audi will launch the S/RS version of its Q3 model. These spy shots were taken by the guys from Carscoop while the prototype was undergoing some testing on the Nurburgring (where else?) We already knew that Audi was working on this version since they’ve showed at a press event organized in Switzerland a Q3 prototype that was fitted with the 5-cylinder engine of the TT RS and the RS3 models.
Audi Q3 S/RS
These photos show us a rather standard Q3 that comes with the S-Line aerodynamic package. If you look closer, you’ll notice the big drilled brakes and Carscoop says that the prototype sounded just like a 5-cylinder power unit so this should be the fastest model in the Q3 lineup.
Audi Q3 S/RS
Most likely, the hottest version of the Q3 will be motivated by a de-tuned variant of the 2.5-liter turbocharged 5-cylinder engine that should output approximately 300 hp (instead of the regular 340 hp). The power will probably be sent to all four wheels via the company’s famous quattro system and a dual-clutch 7-speed S-Tronic gearbox.
Audi Q3 S/RS
We’ll keep you posted if more info will be revealed about the upcoming Audi Q3 S / RS. Stay tuned.

Audi A5 Sportback By Senner Tuning
The smart engineers over at Senner Tuning have come up with an upgrade program for the pre-facelift Audi A5 Sportback. At the heart of the car remains the same V6 TSI 3.0-liter engine but it has received a software optimization, a custom exhaust and a new air filter. The result? The output has been raised to 445 hp, up from the standard 333 hp. Peak torque is also up, from 440 Nm to 530 Nm.
Audi A5 Sportback By Senner Tuning
Aside from this power boost, they’ve also updated the chassis by installing an adjustable suspension borrowed from Bilstein which brings the car closer to the ground by 40 mm at the front axle and 35 mm at the rear one.
Audi A5 Sportback By Senner Tuning
The Audi A5 Sportback by Senner Tuning wears a matte black trim on the front grille as well as the surrounds of the window, the 20-inch alloys and the new tail pipes. Speaking of the rims, these are wrapped around in high-performance Continental Sport Contact 5P rubbers that measure 255/30R20 for the front wheels and 295/25R20 for the ones in the back.

Audi Urban Concept
A bunch of urban concept vehicles have been unveiled this week at Frankfurt and the Ingolstadt-based manufacturer decided to join in by revealing the Urban Concept, in both coupe and spyder variants. It is the result of a development study conducted by a team of in-house engineers, designers as well as electrical experts to play around with new styling ideas, an ultra lightweight construction, small car packaging as well as driveline efficiency.
Audi Urban Concept
From the looks of it, we can easily say that it combines some of the cues of bubble cars like the Messerschmitt Kabinenroller with a more modern aerospace design. Both of the concepts have a common central tub to which the German automaker says that they have linked a race car-style pushrod suspension which offers support for outboard mounted 21-inch alloys.
Audi Urban Concept
The coupe variant of the concept has a canopy that automatically retracts back in order to reveal a two-seat cabin that has staggered steering. As far as the spyder version is concerned, it has a cut down windscreen as well as partial side windows which make the car look a little bit like the E-Tron spyder concept.
Audi Urban Concept
Both cars measure 3,200 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, while being 1,200 mm tall, which makes them 505 mm longer, 140 mm wider and 340 mm lower than the tiny Smart ForTwo Electric Drive. The concepts benefit from a carbon fiber monocoque and have a curb weight of less than 500 kg, which is 50% less than the company’s smallest model at the moment, the A1 (1.2 TFSI).
Audi Urban Concept
The Urban Concept is motivated by a brushless electric motor that has 15 kWh and has been installed at the back, powering the rear wheels. The necessary energy is drawn from the lithium-ion battery pack, which offers a range between 31 and 37 miles (50 and 60 km). Performance-wise, Audi has described it as being on par with current superminis, capable of doing the 0-62 mph sprint in 6.3 seconds, en route to a limited top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h).

Audi A2 Concept
The Ingolstadt-based automaker Audi has decided to bring back to life its A2 model by creating this very interesting and promising electric concept. The car has a curb weight of only 2530 lbs (1,150 kg) and features an ASF – Audi Space Frame construction. It is mostly made out of aluminum with add-on parts in CFRP – Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Polymer.
Audi A2 Concept
It has a lithium-ion battery that drives an electric motor with 116 PS (85 kW) and 199 lb.-ft (270 Nm). However, the continuous power provided is only 80 PS (59 kW) and 118 lb.-ft (160 Nm). It has a single-speed gearbox that converts the available power for motivating the wheels in the front. It should be able to do the 0-62 mph sprint in a decent 9.3 seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h).
Audi A2 Concept
That lithium-ion battery pack has been installed in the floor of the Audi A2 Concept in order to maximize the available space and it should provide enough juice for up to 124 miles (200 km). Some of the features of the car include LED matrix headlights and taillights, along with a cool dynamic lightning across the exterior of the vehicle.

Technology and smart functions: these became the common words in the auto industry lately. For Audi, all these efforts to find smart solutions and to develop great options for their in-car technology exceeds the expectations. This time, they created MM Touch for their Audi A6 model, a system that includes hand-writing recognition. This could make easier to control the in-dash navigation system or any of car’s options.
Here it is the presentation video:
What do you have to say about that?
