Many important auto tuning companies in the world are focusing on Lamborghini models and by applying some interesting upgrades they are transforming these cars into even more powerful and luxurious sports cars. Examples are many, but the most spectacular ones are definitely worth our attention.

One of the auto tuning companies that considers Lamborghini cars a great source of inspiration is Amari Supercar, one of the largest pre-owned supercar dealers in the UK, which expanded its business and recently entered in the auto-tuning industry with its Amari Design franchise. They’ve started the new business by picking the most popular supercar manufactured by the Italian automaker: the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560. The makeover resulted in the release (in 2011) of the Gallardo Invidia Edition which displays some aesthetic and performance upgrades.

The exterior modifications of the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo Invidia Edition include a new redesigned front bumper, complete front fenders and new side skirts. On the exterior, their makeover also included the diffuser, the rear spoiler and the stainless steel exhaust system. Because of all these exterior upgrades, the 2011 Gallardo Invidia received an even more aggressive look. This special edition of Lamborghinis LP560 was also improved on the inside. The main focus is a carbon fiber trim which is available in different colors. The designers also took care of the Gallardo’s seats which are now made of carbon fiber and covered in Alcantara.

The engine was also the subject of an upgrade. The team managed to significantly increase the power of the 5.0 liters V10 engine to 740 horsepower (in comparison with 560 horsepower produced by the regular Gallardo). The Amari Design team didn’t offer many details about the process that helped them increase the engine’s power. The only thing they said was that the performance tuning was made by their company, more specifically, by John Greatorex who is one of the UK’s top five best mechanics.

Another well known auto tuning company which had the courage to transform a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 in an impressive supercar is West Racing. This company, along with its partner, Yokohama, developed the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 GT which will be ready to compete in the 2011 racing season. Their makeover resulted in a Lamborghini equipped with an upgraded 5.2 liters V10 engine able to produce 560 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in only 3.7 seconds. The maximum speed is of 201 mph. Some of the specifications are still unknown, but it’s very likely that the car will also display some improved aerodynamic components, even if the engine won’t be the subject of a complete makeover.

Racing Sport Concepts is another American tuner that recently released an impressive customized Lamborghini Gallardo. This new Lamborghini is an improved version of the Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder which suffered some aerodynamic and engineering updates. This 2011 Gallardo is known as the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo Twin-turbo and comes with a new front spoiler and redesigned side skirts covered in white while the headlights, the side mirrors and the hood are painted in black. The exterior design of this Lamborghini Gallardo is completed by its new lightweight alloy rims which display a five double-spoke design. But the most impressive feature of the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo Twin-turbo is the improved engine. Rumors say that this model will be equipped with a powerful engine able to produce 1000 horsepower. So, it’s very likely that the result will be a car able to achieve 60 mph in only 3 seconds.
