Lamborghini 2010 Model

Lamborghini manufactures incredible, fast and luxurious supercars that influence our days and our lives. But before one of these cars is built and introduced on the market, it is firstly designed by talented people. And as a car brand that respects its customers and itself, Lamborghini has the best designers focused on creating amazing models. I’m sure you heard about some incredible Lamborghini models such as the Minotauro, the Furia or the Toro LA690-4. In 2010, the list of new Lamborghini models received some additions that because of their unique design were able to exceed our expectations.

The Lamborghini Cnossus concept was envisioned by Victor Filipchenko, a Russian student helped by his Portuguese colleague Nelson Simoes. This concept car represented their final thesis project at the Itlalian “Scuola Politecnica di Design”. As we all know, every Lamborghini model follows a bull theme. As a result, the 2010 Lamborghini Cnossus concept followed this traditional principle of the Italian automaker and the name given is related to the ancient Greek city of Cnossus located on the island of Crete where everybody thinks that bullfighting was born.

The designers suggested that the two students used as inspirational source the old and incredible Lamborghini Countach, but even the edgy styling of the limited Reventon edition influenced significantly the design of this 2010 Lamborghini model. As we would expect, when two amazing designs from the past and the present are combined you can’t obtain anything else, but an exceptional result. So, the Countach and the Reventon put together their best “genes” and helped the designers create a bold vision of the future Lamborghini flagship. And they proved that the future has an unimaginable potential.

The 2010 Lamborghini Cnossus has a lot of classic cues including the telephone-dial wheels borrowed from the Countach, the gaping air intakes placed in front of the rear wheelarch and the scissor doors. In addition, the LED lights, with inverted arrows at the end, placed on the rear remind us of the Reventon’s jet-fighter theme while the diffuser is similar to the one mounted on the Le Mans prototype racer. This 2010 Lamborghini model catches the eye with new surfaces and its new rear optics. As a result, the Lamborghini Cnossus concept is truly an amazing supercar which definitely will be successful once the company decides to introduce it in production. Unfortunately, we must be patient, because it will take a while until they will.

Another incredible 2010 Lamborghini model revealed is the 2010 Lamborghini Navarra concept car. This model was designed by Adam Denning. Everybody who works for Lamborghini tries to create the best future car of the Italian automaker and this designer is no exception. This is another Raging Bull model which will be a flagship for the Lamborghini’s super sports cars department, created to replace the current Murcielago model.

The 2010 Lamborghini Navarra concept car impresses with its curved shape which provides this future supercar with an organic form. As an inspirational source, the designer used Michelangelo’s “La Pieta”. The American designer intends to equip this supercar with the fierce V12 engine and to use a carbon-fiber frame and carbon-fiber panels. In addition, the designer will use all the best components of the older cars manufactured by Lamborghini starting with the Miura and ending with the Murcielago.

The dimensions of the car will be similar to the Murcielago, maybe only 2 cm shorter while the wheelbase will be longer. This amazing Lamborghini Navarro equipped with the powerful V12 will produce between 650 and 700 horsepower. I’m sure I got the speed addicted interested in this supercar.
