On June 24 2011 will take place the second Annual Orange County auction organized in California by one of the most famous auction houses in the world: Barrett Jackson. This event continues the series of car auctions organized by Barrett Jackson during the year of its 40th anniversary. This Barrett Jackson car auction will take place during three days and will display an exquisite selection of hot rods, classic cars and original collector cars at the OC Fair & Event Center. This 2011 Orange County car auction will offer bidders the possibility to choose from Reserve and No reserve cars.
The star of this Barrett Jackson car auction will be the 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Berlinetta manufactured as a competitor for the Lamborghini Miura. This incredible classic car features a 4.4 liter engine able to produce 352 horsepower and comes with all the books, warranty cards and records in their original shape. This model won a lot of awards across the country.
The auction will also include 30 cars that belong to the successful entrepreneur, David Parker. This private collection will display a 1968 Shelby GT-350 Mustang which is equipped with a factory 302cc V8 engine and a four-speed manual transmission. The car was restored and comes with a lot of pictures and documentation regarding its restoration. Another amazing car which is also part of the collection is the 1957 Cadillac series 62 convertible which was entirely restored. The 2002 Porsche Carrera 911 will be also auctioned at this Barrett Jackson car auction being part of Parker’s collection. This vehicle was customized with the help of an incredible Gemballa carbon fiber interior. It also features a custom stereo system, Lambo doors and a K40 radar.
You will also have the opportunity to admire and bid for an incredible 1928 Ford Custom Roadster equipped with a 331 cc V8 engine and automatic transmission. This car also features new tires and wheels, an air adjustable rear suspension, vintage gauges and an incredible interior. It’s being auctioned as a No reserve car and it’s perfect for a ride under the Californian sun. This Barrett Jackson car auction will also display some Chevrolets including a 1968 Chevrolet Corvette convertible which is a red classic equipped with a 350cc V8 engine, a three-speed automatic transmission and disc brakes. The car was recently restored and is still in a great shape.
An incredible 1955 Ford F-1 pickup truck will also be auctioned during this Barrett Jackson car auction. It has an incredible blue color and comes equipped with a V8 engine and an entirely restored interior. This classic pickup is rare and any classic car collector would be proud to own it. I can’t forget about the incredible 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II either. This car is equipped with a 6.2 liter V8 engine and an automatic transmission. It also features leather seats, writing desks and an electric dividing window placed between the chauffer and the back seats.
This Barrett Jackson car auction will host some recent car models as well, including a 2005 Maserati Cambio Corsa convertible with a yellow exterior color and a black leather interior. It’s powered by a 4.2 liter engine and comes with a F1 transmission, cruise control, heated seats and air conditioning. A 2010 Jeep Wrangler will also be on the auction list and is quite a piece of art. It’s equipped with a 3.8 liter V6 engine, a Borla exhaust system, a roof basket and four safari doors.
