A new automaker has seen the light of day and its name is Tushek. The company was founded by Aljosa Tusek who had a dream about developing his own supercar. This dream is now a reality as the company has finished the work on the Tushek Renovatio T500 which makes it the first supercar from Slovenia.
Tushek Renovatio T500
It features a removable hardtop and scissor doors, while the style of the car looks a little bit like the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Performante, especially if you look at it from the side. Anyway, the chassis of the Tushek Renovatio T500 is made from chrome-moly steel while for the exterior they’ve used carbon fiber and carbon composites, allowing the supercar to have a curb weight of just 1,133kg.
Tushek Renovatio T500
The T500 is motivated by a V8 engine borrowed from the Audi RS4, linked to a 6-speed manual transmission. It is the 4.2-liter FSI engine that in this configuration is capable of generating 450 hp at 7,900 rpm and a peak torque of 428 Nm reached at 3,200 rpm. Thanks to this engine, the supercar should be capable of doing the 0-62 mph sprint in 3.7 seconds.
Tushek Renovatio T500
The stopping power of the Tushek Renovatio T500 is provided by the ventilated carbon-ceramic disc brakes with 6-piston calipers at the front and 4-piston calipers out in the back. The car is running on aluminum forged wheels with center locking that measure 10 x 19 at the rear and 8.5 x 19 in the front. These rims are covered by Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires.
Tushek Renovatio T500
As far as the cabin is concerned, we find Alcantara, carbon and leather, but customers have lots of possibilities to customize their ride. Some of the optional features include a track day kit, heated seats, a rear view camera and a titanium exhaust system.
Tushek Renovatio T500
The Slovenian automaker Tushek has announced that they have started the development of the racing version which will be lighter and more powerful and it will be known as the Forego T700. The standard version is scheduled to make its first public appearance in Monaco at the Top Marques show.
A luxurious four-seat sporting GT envisioned by VW Group-owned ItalDesign Giugiaro is this Brivido (meaning “thrill” in Italian). The car is almost five meters long and was designed by Giugiaro, the same company that was responsible for the styling of the Scirocco and the original Golf.
ItalDesign Brivido
At the heart of this concept is a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine linked to an electric motor and an 8-speed automatic gearbox, managing to deliver 355 hp and 339 lb.-ft of torque. This RWD concept needs only 5.8 seconds for doing the 0-62 mph sprint, on its way to a top speed of 171 mph. the ItalDesign Brivido has CO2 emissions of 154 g/km.
ItalDesign Brivido
This is a vehicle that measures 4980 mm long, 1298 mm high and 1960 mm wide, while its wheelbase is of 2910 mm long. It has been fitted as you can see with cool gullwing doors that offer an easy cabin access for both front & rear passengers. The developers of this concept have used a lot of glass for forming a “glass dome” that manages to increase visibility.
ItalDesign Brivido
We also notice LED light clusters, cameras instead of the usual side mirrors which display images on the steering column’s top. Other than that, the ItalDesign Brivido rides on massive 21-inch alloys and the engineers have used a lot of carbon fiber for both the front and rear of the vehicle. Inside the cabin it packs an iPad docking station as well as two LCD screens from where the driver will have access to all of the important functions of the vehicle.
The Germany-based automaker Roding Automobile has introduced the Roding Roaster 23 at the Geneva Motor Show. It is a mid-engined two-seat sports car that benefits from a carbon fiber chassis which allows the car to have a curb weight of just 2,094 lbs (950 kg).
Roding Roadster 23
The Roding Roadster 23 is motivated by a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter engine that produces 320 hp (325 PS / 235 kW) which gives the car a power-to-weight ratio of less than 3 kg/hp, enabling the vehicle to do the 0-62 mph sprint in 3.9 seconds. The car manages to return 34.4 mpg imp (8.2 liters / 100 km).
Roding Roadster 23
The first units that the automaker will build are going to be special editions, limited to just 23 units. All of these cars are going to come with an exclusive exterior design that brings visible carbon parts, like the chassis, hood, rear, roof and door unpainted while the rest of the car can be finished in any color that the client prefers. In addition, the car will comes as standard with racing components.
The vehicle you see in these photos is the very first Spanish supercar and it has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The GTA Spano shown at the event in Switzerland is the production version, ending a 5-year story of concepts and pre-production versions.
GTA Spano
At the heart of this beast is a huge V10 8.3-liter engine that unleashes no less than 820 hp (831 PS / 611 kW) and a massive torque of 708 lb.-ft (960 Nm). All that horsepower is going to the back wheels with the help of a 7-speed automatic or manual gearbox. The Spanish engineers used a lot of carbon fiber for the Spano’s chassis and body, allowing the supercar to weigh only 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg), making it 175 kg lighter than the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta which is considered by many as the most important car shown in Geneva.
GTA Spano
Anyway, this gorgeous GTA Spano needs only 2.9 seconds to do the 0-62 mph sprint, and it won’t stop until it reaches the top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h), which is supercar territory.
GTA Spano
GTA has announced that they will be making only 99 units of the Spano but they haven’t mentioned the price tag of this beauty. We’ll let you know once they do.

We don’t talk at all about trucks here on rpmGo.com because basically we’re not big fans. However, we’ve stumbled upon a very interesting Kenworth T800 dump truck that has a turbo configuration and manages to pump out more than 1,000 hp.
According to BangShift, the uploaders of this YouTube clip, the truck is able to run the quarter mile in only 14.1 seconds which is very fast for a regular car, let alone for a huge dump truck like this one that weighs about 23,000 pounds. We wonder what sort of fuel consumption it has. In the YouTube description of the clip it is mentioned that the Kenworth T800 has a compound turbo setup that makes 150 pounds of boost.
If this truck was a hyper car, this would probably have been the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

Chinese automaker clones the Ford F-150
JAC 4R3
It has been a while since we’ve seen a China-made clone of a popular car but this is it, an almost carbon copy of the most popular vehicle in the United States – the F-150 pickup. This 4R3 is manufactured by Jianghuai Auto Corporation, a carmaker that wants to provide customers in China, South America and Africa with a cheap and large truck.
JAC 4R3
According to CarNewsChina, JAC is a relatively small car manufacturer located in China that is specialized in rolling out rebodied Hyundai vehicles, pickups and SUVs. Under the hood of the 4R3 is a 4-cylinder 2.8-liter diesel engine that produces only 108 hp and a peak torque of 177 lb.-ft. No word about the price tag of the truck but we know that it will be unveiled this April during the Beijing Motor Show.
What we have here is an electric roadster based on the Lotus Elise which has an electric motor that is powered by a lithium-ion battery. It was developed by the German automaker PG and Dusseldorf-based automobile designer Michael Frohlich.
PG Elektrus
The body of the car is covered in carbon fiber in order to diminish the weight of the vehicle. Another interesting feature would have to be the solar panel that the automaker has installed behind the driver. It’s role is to collect the energy of the sun and convert it into electricity for powering up the batteries.
PG Elektrus
The car’s electric motor is capable of generating 272 hp and 258.2 lb.-ft (350 Nm) of torque, which according to the carmaker should be enough for a 0-62 mph sprint in less than 3 seconds, on its way to a maximum speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
PG Elektrus
Also on board of the PG Elektrus is a special audio-based system that allows the driver of the electric roadster to choose from a range of sounds that imitate real engine sounds, including here an F1 car or a full-bodied V8. The company said that the car is capable of providing a driving range of up to 217 miles (350 km).
PG Elektrus
Their plans are to manufacture 667 units of the Elektrus, and each of these will come with a starting price of $312,400 (240,000 euros).
An interesting car at this year’s edition of the Detroit Motor Show is the hand-build Falcon F7. The one shown at NAIAS is the final production version, unlike the prototype shown in 2010 at the same event. Falcon Motor Sports is a company based in Holly, Michigan and they started working on the car back in 2009.
Falcon F7
According to the automaker, the exterior design of the F7 is inspired from the supercars that came out in the 80s, while the interior cabin can accommodate a driver up to 195 cm (6’4) in comfort. Even though we’re dealing with a proper supercar, it still has all the goodies you’d expect from a modern standard vehicle, like Garmin GPS, iPod docking station, premium audio system, Bluetooth support, air conditioning, power windows, keyless locking and ignition system.
Falcon F7
The Falcon F7 will be riding on a bespoke tig-welded aluminum chassis that has an built-in carbon fiber structural tunnel, along with body panels made from lightweight carbon fiber. The floor pan and firewall are carbon fiber reinforced, while the V8 engine has been mounted in the middle.
Falcon F7
Most of the suspension parts are borrowed from the Chevrolet Corvette. It is motivated by an impressive V8 LS7 7.0-liter, naturally-aspirated engine that is capable of generating 620 hp @ 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 585 lb.-ft available at 5,400 rpm. This power unit will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that sends the ponies to the rear wheels.
Falcon F7
Depending on the chosen configuration, this supercar can do the 0-62 mph sprint in 3.3 to 3.6 seconds, on its way to a top speed of about 190 to 200 mph. It will need less than a 100 feet to completely stop from 60 mph and it should be able to achieve 1.1 – 1.3g maximum lateral acceleration.
Falcon F7
The automaker has announced that they will be making only 10 units of the F7 and the starting price will be of $225,000.
The facelift for the cute Toyota Aygo has brought a front fascia inspired by the one we’ve seen in the Yaris model, along with an updated front grille and LED daytime running lights (optional). In addition, the 2012 model year adopts restyled steel wheel caps and a new bonnet.
2012 Toyota Aygo
Inside the cabin, the Aygo comes with an updated dashboard, colored air vent trim and a new steering wheel. Some of the goodies include a brand new audio system that comes with Bluetooth/USB connectivity, along with more sound-deadening material to keep things nice and quiet while you are driving.
2012 Toyota Aygo
The 2012 Toyota Aygo is powered by a small 3-cylinder 1.0-liter gasoline engine that has been revised with a new combustion chamber and iridium-tipped spark plugs. The power unit is capable of developing 67 hp (68 PS / 50 kW) and a peak torque of 69 lb.-ft (93 Nm). The car has a fuel consumption of only 4.4 liters / 100 km and has CO2 emissions standing at 102 g/km.
2012 Toyota Aygo

You certainly have heard about the cheapest car in the entire world – the Tata Nano. But India is about to have its very first sports car in the form of the DC Design Avanti. The DC Design company was founded by Dilip Chhabria who is a former General Motors designer and has been known for its one-off prototypes. The situation is about to change as this Avanti will be reaching the production line and it will be manufactured at the company’s new factory located at Talagon.
DC Design Avanti
Chhabria has stated that the company’s plans are to build 300 units of the Avanti in 2013-2014. If everything goes according to plans and the automaker gets enough orders, they will increase the annual output to more than 1,000 cars.
DC Design Avanti
The prototype of this sports car made its official debut at the 2012 Auto Expo and it is constructed around a lightweight yet rigid spaceframe chassis. It features coil over shock absorbers and unequal-length wishbones on both of the axles, and it will ride on 19-inch alloys wrapped around in 255/35 tires at the front and 295/30 for the back wheels. The stopping power for the Avanti will be provided by the 330 mm ventilated disc brakes that will have AP Racing calipers.
DC Design Avanti
At the heart of this new Indian sports car will be a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter mid-mounted Ecoboost engine borrowed from Ford which will be tuned in order to produce 240 hp and a maximum torque of 270 lb.-ft (366 Nm). The car will be available for export thanks to the fact that the power unit is Euro 5-compliant, but they will make a few adjustments in order to meet the upcoming Euro 6 restrictions.
DC Design Avanti
All of those ponies will be sent to the back wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission also taken from Ford. As an optional feature, the DC Design Avanti will be available with a dual clutch PowerShift transmission.
Carrying a weight of 3,443 pounds (1,562 kg) and featuring 240 hp under its hood, this certainly won’t be a supercar, but the good news is that its price tag will be of Rs 30 lakh, which in dollars means approximately $56,000.
DC Design Avanti
The company’s plans for the future are to introduce a turbocharged Honda-sourced V6 engine for the Avanti which should be able to generate about 400 hp. Most likely, this variant of the car will be significantly more expensive.
