Here is Citroen’s latest showroom, the C42, located in the heart of Paris, along the Champs-Elysées. Designed by French architect Manuelle Gautrand, the C42 is a modern, airy structure that is a mixture of Citroen’s past and future. C42’s first exhibition, called “Sustainable Innovationâ€, displays the Traction Avant, 2CV, the C-Métisse and C-Airplay. Only three production vehicles, including the new C-Crosser sport utility and the C4 Picasso MPV, currently reside on the showroom floor.

You can see more details on their website and we have more photos, after the jump.

Though we were expecting the new Citroen C5 to be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show which just ended, looks like Citroen will keep us waiting a little more. We are not such big fans of Citroen, but we have to admit that we were teased by the C-Airscape concept presented at Frankfurt.

So, here’s a spy video of the upcoming Citroen C5, both the sedan and the wagon versions, caught while taken out on the streets, for testing. Unfortunately, there’s some heavy camouflage on the cars, so we can’t really tell to much about it.

With the Frankfurt Motor Show so close, we’re gonna see a looot of concepts around here. Here is what Citroen is preparing us, the C-Cactus Concept. Measuring in at 4.2 m (165 in), the small hatch concept features a Hybrid HDi drivetrain capable of 69 mpg (3.4 l/100km) on the combined cycle and emissions of 78g/km of CO2 all that used to take the car to a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h).

I have to say, I don’t really know what to say about the front, with those large air intakes, not really my thing, but overall it’s a cool vehicle from Citroen. And what’s even better is that it looks like the Citroen C-Cactus Concept will be the starting point for Peugeot’s future hybrid hatch, which will compete Toyota’s Prius. We have something really nice for you. These leaked photos of show that, at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show in September, Citroen will be presenting a super cabrio based on the next C5 generation, called Citroen C-Airscape. Because Citroen doesn’t have a “serious” cabrio model (the C3 Pluriel is cute, but not a real cabrio) we expect the 4-seater C-Airscape to go into production, but we’ll have to wait for an official release from Citroen to see their plans. Until then, enjoy the pics.
