Project Kahn 2011 Range Rover RS300 Limited Edition

Probably the best-looking SUV at the moment is the Range Rover and British tuner, Project Kahn, has decided to make it look even better. This limited edition RS300 Afzal Kahn features a 10-piece body kit that looks very nice, a massive update for the cabin and most importantly, Cosworth technology.

This body kit consists of two-piece front bumper spoilers, a front bumper A-frame, a satin front mesh grille, color coded side sills, door handles and a rear apron, along with the Cosworth steel door entry sills. As you can see, it also got a brand new set of 20-inch RS rims.

As far as the interior is concerned, they’ve fitted this limited edition Range Rover RS300 with perforated and quilted “RS” front and rear seats with “Cosworth” logos, an RS gear shift with contrasting stitching and a quilted center glove box and instrument binnacle. Other additions include Cosworth front and rear lettering, a hand-crafted Cosworth enamel boot badge, along with a numbered conversion plaque (also Cosworth) and blue dials and time clock (Cosworth, again).

Subaru has just added more fuel onto the hot hatch fire, as it has just unveiled, alongside performance company Cosworth, the Impreza STI CS400 model.

Using the same 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, but with more performance parts than you can shake a stick at, this new Impreza is capable of a whopping 395 HP and 398 lb-ft of torque. 0 to 62 mph in achieved in a supercar-like 3.7 seconds while the top speed is limited to 155 mph.

The Subaru Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 stands out from all the other models with a redesigned front bumper, new foglights, mesh grille, revised front spoiler and a set of wider 18-inch wheels. In terms of handling, it received a new chassis, resulted from a partnership between Cosworth and Eibach, lower suspension springs and larger front brakes, courtesy of AP Racing.

On the inside you’ll find a piano black center console and a pair of bucket racing Recaro seats. You’ll be able to choose from three colors if this hot hatch got you interested, silver, dark gray and red.

Only 75 cars will be made, sadly intended for UK use, with right hand drive. Even if you considering popping over the Atlantic for such a powerful model, the price starts at £49,995 (around $71,600).

Remember Project Kahn’s Cosworth 300 tuning program for the Range Rover Sport? It’s the first package released since British tuner Project Kahn and Cosworth started their partnership, back in April. And you might say that in the current economic times, a tuning program for an SUV won’t be that successful. However, you forget that there’s a place in this world where money’s not an issue at all, the Middle East. The Saudi Royal Family has just placed an order for 80 vehicles, which, considering that a fully customized one (we can’t imagine Saudi royalty ordering anything else) costs £122,226 (around $200,000), that’s quite a jump start for Afzal Kahn’s project. A spokesman for the Saudi Royal family said that the 80 vehicles were bought for “members of the family because Cosworth is back on the streets and we wanted the cars before anybody else.”

Cosworth and UK tuner Project Kahn have developed a special version of the Range Rover Sport, which will be on display at the MPH show. The program features a new body kit, with a new front spoiler, Cosworth handcrafted mesh front grille and side vents, new side sills, side steps, stainless steel side bars, new rear roof spoiler, a Cosworth rear valance and a lower boot spoiler. The interior also received a lot of goodies, like blue illuminated instrument dials, stainless steel door sill plates engraved with Cosworth logo, perforated Nappa leather all over the place, perforated gear knob and Cosworth leather or Alcantara hand stitched steering wheel.

Mechanical upgrades include a Cosworth 300 kit, with carbon fiber engine cover, new stainless steel exhaust silencer and 22 inch multi-spoke wheels. The customization will set you back £70,000 (around $116,000) with your car, while for a fully customized vehicle with every option installed you have to pay £122,226 (around $200,000).

Anyone who heard of Jeremy Clarkson, the producer of the famous British show “Top Gear” knows its passion for powerful cars. Here is a Ford RS Cosworth previously owned by Jeremy, for sale on AutoTrader. The 1993 hatch is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine developing 227 hp and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (100 km/h) in only 5.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 140 mph (226 km/h). What’s interesting that, if the spoiler is removed, the car tops 147 mph (236 km/h), but you do that at your own risk.

The exterior is modified, with a sporty bodykit, huge rear spoiler and 18-inch six spoke alloys, and the interior features full black leather seats, electric windows, CD player and an alarm. The Escort comes with ten months MOT and 72,000 mileage.
