2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline

At this year’s edition of the Spring Festival of LXs organized in Irvine, sunny California, Dodge has introduced the 2012 Challenger Rallye which is a special edition of the model that comes with a full-length body stripe, 20-inch alloys with red accents and a rear spoiler. Other modifications include a revised rear axle ratio, high-performance brakes and a sport-tuned suspension.

Inside the cabin nothing much has changed but we do notice a thick-rimmed steering wheel, leather sport seats, as well as a Mopar shift handle. Also on board are the Boston Acoustics audio system and the automatic climate control.

Under the hood of the 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline is a V6 3.6-liter engine that is capable of delivering 305 hp (309 PS / 227 kW) and a peak torque of 268 lb.-ft (363 Nm). The power unit is linked to a 5-speed automatic gearbox that enables the vehicle to return 27 mpg on the highway.

The car is scheduled to go on sale in April and the base price will be of $28,754, not taking into consideration the $925 for the destination charge.
